It is a 10-minute walk to Forest Adventure, which can be enjoyed by children and adults, and Oza Hoshi Pond, where you can take a walk by the lake.Water activities on Lake Nojiri and sightseeing in the city such as Zenyo-ji Temple are also within a 20-minute drive.All ski resorts (Togakushi, Kurohime, Myoko, Wadao) all ski resorts can be accessed within 30 minutes. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

Feel the extraordinary atmosphere with a large sofa and fireplace in the living room, a large yard and outdoor dining. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.

We had an amazing stay at Geoff and Aki’s place! They are incredibly caring hosts who made sure our trip was comfortable and unforgettable. They provided us with all the necessary information about the area and were always ready to help with visiting local attractions. The house itself was warm and cozy, with a breathtaking view from the window. At the end of February, there was a lot of snow, and the nearby ski resort was open – we could even walk there! Getting to the house by taxi from Nagano was easy, but traveling back without a car was a bit tricky. Fortunately, Geoff was very kind and helped us with transportation when needed. We truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Nagano!

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

We booked for only 1 night at first, but enjoyed the place so much we had to extend for another night! The place is just like as described. Because the furniture, kitchenware and amenities are from Muji, it made everything 100 times cooler. Peaceful and beautiful nature surrounding the house. We absolutely enjoyed the campfire on the patio!
