Our listing is a quiet, spacious, entire-floor property with an elevator, located in the heart of Kyoto, Kawaramachi, which is a rare find❤️ We recommend that it can comfortably accommodate between 4 and 10 people! We finalized the following details for our room in March 2026. From now on, the experience will be even better than before! We carefully selected distinctive Japanese materials, The main wall of the living room TV area features a premium woven-pattern wallpaper with a designer aesthetic. This is Japan's largest and world-renowned woolen fabric production area, and the overall space exudes a warm and cozy home atmosphere. For this special bathroom renovation, we used herringbone-patterned woven tiles crafted with the exquisite, centuries-old Gifu Prefecture tile-making technique. These tiles create a dynamic three-dimensional effect as light and shadow play upon them. Mino ware ceramics have a history spanning nearly 1,300 years, and the tile industry has been producing these highly intricate tiles for over a century. We've also carefully upgraded the Dyson hairdryer, as well as the Dyson bladeless fan, the kettle from a Japanese design brand, the brand-new Daikin air conditioner (both heating and cooling) in the living room, and the best shower head in Japan! The flooring is sourced from Asahi Woodworks, a century-old Japanese company, and is of the highest quality, costing three times more than Chinese products. We also carefully select our bedding. We worked hard for two years to find this quiet and elevator building, and then spent another year negotiating with the owner to convince him to buy this building, which is really run by Japanese people, so you can experience 100% of Japanese daily life! We carefully decorated more than a dozen rooms in this building with different features and styles. Each room's theme is also handmade and painted by us. It takes about a month to open a new room. We are also very happy that our three Airbnb accounts have received more than 300 5-star Superhost reviews, and because we are also very careful in choosing bedding, you can see in the reviews that many customers say our beds are very comfortable! And we also attach great importance to cleaning, everyone knows that cleaning and outsourcing is the cheapest, but you will not feel the care and warmth, so our rooms are completely cleaned with the greatest care. Most of the good Airbnb accommodations in Kyoto do not have elevators, especially the old town houses. Sometimes we travel with our parents and children, and after experiencing the fatigue and hardships of the journey, we still have to move our luggage and climb the stairs to the upstairs room. Also you can see beautiful cherry trees in the spring. Our guests can use bicycles for free!
