Our cottage is located at the banks of the Yuhara River, at the banks of the Uenbara River. Speaking of Gifu, Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama are famous, but Enhara is also an inconvenient place in the mountains, but it is nice. The landscape of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a natural place where monkeys and deer appear. The Enhara River is a landmark of Japan's most beautiful underwater water and light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of underwater, so the transparency of the water is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On a summer morning, you can see a magical view of sunlight from among the trees due to weather conditions. The water in the Enhara River is cold, but in the summer, the children are playing in the river energetically. Temperatures drop a lot in the river, so even those who escape the heat and cool off. There are a few river play spots a little downstream, and the water is crystal clear and it is nice to swim beautifully. The water in the river shines a little deep in emerald green, and the rock and moss landscape is fantastic, making it a healing spot where the mind is purified. There is a river-facing deck on the second floor of the inn, so you can BBQ while watching the river, swaying in the hammock while listening to the river, and relaxing in the tent sauna.

Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). We are a small traditional Japanese-style inn near Nagoya station newly built in February 2020. The small inn is a 3-story building with a large flat floor structure, and there is enough private space for family gatherings from a small group to a large group or even a group of guests. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo
