Beachfront holiday rental in Nags Head

The space was lovely and very clean. The view out the window over the sound was excellent, and we could go downstairs for great sunsets on the dock. We enjoyed walking distance to everything - beach, shops, restaurants. Erin was very responsive and flexible to our needs.

We had a great time place is private and super cozy, the location for the price can’t be beat!!

Wonderful place and very pet friendly. The location of the house on a beach access point/path was such an important benefit that I had not realized when booking the house (I did not know that there were specific beach access points and if you were not on a beach path, you had to walk to one and then head east to get to the beach) The beach cart and all of the beach accessories were terrific (shibuni, chairs, towels, cooler, beach mat, toys, bikes ect.) no need to pack/bring anything for the beach with you! Thanks for a great stay!

Very secluded and peaceful. Wish the weather had been better throughout our stay but it was very nice to wake up to the sound of the waves and nature. I will say if you have a toddler to make sure to take a safety gate. He made it a challenge wanting to climb the stairs so we went out to buy some for our stay. WiFi is spotty (which is a good thing) but I didn’t realize none of my messages were sent until this morning. My husband and son enjoyed some fishing and caught a few stingrays. I would love to go back later in the year.

This is a beautiful place and it's incredibly thoughtfully done! The screened porch is a DREAM. The house is full of thoughtful details, including plenty of beach towels, beach supplies, and pet-friendly items. We had no problem cooking at home with the fully stocked kitchen. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach, with the public access path almost across the street. I'd absolutely return!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.

Sarah was a great and responsive host and the location was absolutely beautiful, a nice private beach across the street, this stay at Sarahs helped make our trip as phenomenal as it was.

Brittany was an excellent host who responded as soon as possible to any inquires or requests for accommodations. The house was perfect and absolutely stunning. With having a two year old with my family, there were toys there ready to play which made it even better! The view was spectacular and the hot tub was equally amazing. We had some car trouble during when packing our car during check out which made us late for check out time unfortunately and she was very friendly and understanding. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. No complaints at all! Definitely can’t wait to stay again (when the two year old isn’t teething and going through sleep regression lol). 10/10 highly recommend!

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

Beautiful condo that is right on the water. The view from the balcony is worth staying at this condo. There is easy beach access and the condo is clean. It is the perfect size and location for a beach getaway. Gene is extremely friendly and responsive as well.

Our stay was Perfect! We enjoyed having the everything we needed right there! They make you feel right at home! The extra things like the beach chairs & neso tent was so perfect for our days at the beach. The pool was so clean! The entire house was so clean! We enjoyed being able to watch the Dolphins right from the observation deck! 🐬

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was very clean and the space was perfect for our family! The kitchen was updated and had all of the essentials. The balcony had a perfect view of the ocean! It was beautiful and I enjoyed drinking my coffee as well as watching the sunrise each morning! The condo was in a great location and central to everywhere we wanted to go at OBX! Katie was very responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved it and we may stay here again in the future!! 😊

Beautiful, immaculate home! Very high end aesthetic, furniture, fixtures, dish-ware. The location has something to offer for all. The beach was a fairly short walk. The house came equipped with beach chairs, an umbrella, and a buggy to tote your items. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment. It’s a great house for a small group. I actually visited solo with my puppy and enjoyed having all the space.

Wonderful stay. The place was as described. Bathrooms updated. Place was extremely clean. All mentioned amenities were available. Elevator not working due to storm previous week. Not fault of owners. 3 flights of stairs doable with wide steps. View was incredible from balcony and main bedroom. Pool clean. Beach access steps away. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Nice to have plenty of bath towels. Laundry facilities helpful. Total cost $3 in quarters for both wash and dry. Excellent stay. Kim was extremely responsive. Looking forward to returning.

We all felt very at home, the house is gorgeous and the beach is right there. We each had our own room and bathroom. Carrie was always quick to respond to our questions. We definitely want to go back there if possible next year and use her house again. None of us wanted to leave. We even saw dolphins from her deck, it was amazing. Thank you Carrie for everything!!!

This beach house was everything we hoped for and more! It was the perfect spot for our girls’ trip bright, airy, and super clean, with plenty of space for all of us to relax and hang out. We loved the open layout. The sunsets from the patio were unforgettable! The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and even left us a sweet welcome note.

Tara’s place worked perfectly for our family (two adults, two young kids) and honestly restored my faith in AirBnBs. You can tell she really puts effort into making it an awesome place. It was kid friendly - spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated without being fussy. The appliances are all brand new, the bed and linens are super comfortable, there’s great water pressure in the shower, the kitchen is well stocked, and the washer/dryer was so helpful. It’s super centrally located with a ton to do in the area, and it’s easily walkable to the beach. (Though there’s no real ocean view, if that’s your thing.) It was our first time in the Outer Banks and we’d probably choose a quieter town in the future but if we were to come back to KDH rebooking here would be top of our list.

This home certainly makes for a relaxing vacation, as you have direct walk-out access to the beach; it feels warm and welcoming, everything you need to unwind and simply enjoy the sea and sand. Ideal location. We would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic location! We loved being right on the beach. Inside the condo was really quiet and it had everything we needed. My kids loved it too and we got to see dolphins from the balcony!

The 2nd level covered balcony made this place stand out, it was perfect for relaxing and meals while enjoying sites of the beach and ocean. Everything was clean and we felt right at home. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The Blue Umbrella is an awesome option for anyone traveling dual/solo. It’s a quiet location that is a very easy walk to both the beach and a number of local restaurants. Steve and Diane were very responsive and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here.
