Our guest cabin is nestled in a peaceful wooded acreage in Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island. The entire cabin is for your exclusive use. To keep the cabin allergen free, WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS. Our home is at the back of the 5 acres so we are available if you have any questions. Please note the added fees - AirBnb charges a service charge and occupancy tax but as a courtesy, we do not add cleaning fees. It is our expecttion that all guests make the effort to leave our guest cabin neat and tidy.

Welcome to Harbour City Hideaway in Nanaimo! Located in a central location, our stylish and cozy Airbnb offers the perfect blend of convenience and comfort for your stay. The Hideaway is situated within walking distance of numerous amenities, including restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, quick bites to eat, walking trails, and VIU. Being a 10-minute drive from ferries, 15-minute drive from the airport, and only 5 minutes into downtown makes this spot the perfect island stay.

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Imagine waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the rocks, the sunrise mirrored across the water. Take your coffee out onto the private oceanfront patio where you can lounge in the hammock. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.

Eagle Point Retreat

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. Located near the water in a quiet neighborhood with beach access nearby. A favoured area to walk and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and watch the eagles soar. Close to shopping but quiet and secure. Free off street parking , No smoking , (Outside cigarette smoking area available) no parties please, and we ask that seafood isn't brought in due do a seafood allergy in the house.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
