Naomi, Eseroma and their five children welcomed us with so much warmth that we immediately felt welcome. Right after our arrival, there was a delicious lunch, and our private room with sea view was fantastic. Naomi cooked a variety of delicacies every day - fresh fish, even lobster once! She always prepared what they ate themselves, and we ate together with the family - which made the whole thing much more authentic and familiar. Actually, we wanted to stay two nights, in the end it was five - because we liked it so much. The conversations with Naomi and the people in the village, playing with her loving children - all this made our stay something very special. We can wholeheartedly recommend this homestay - authentic, warm and full of beautiful memories.

We spent an incredible 5 days with the people of Gunu, who welcomed us with open arms. We were able to take part in lots of village activities. Ili and Max are wonderful people; they integrate us perfectly into their daily lives with their children. The advice we can give you is to book your trip to this accommodation directly with Ili's Airbnb account to make sure she receives the money for the accommodation.
