Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

The lovingly designed showman's trailer with wood stove is located on a heritage-listed artists' courtyard (built in 1805). In the warm season, the Wilde Werk – a creative meeting place with a kitchen, studio and plenty of space to linger – invites you to enjoy, work or be creative. Whether you want to slow down or go hiking in the nearby Geo-Naturpark, both are possible here.

Holiday in beautiful northern Hesse! Connection to horse farm possible. (Icelandic horses) Nearby is Kassel (UNESCO World Heritage Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, nightlife and leisure activities in a big city, Löwenburg, fairytale museum and much more!) Fulda and Eder for water sports. Cycle path R 1 2 kilometers away. Train connection, shops, fitness studio with spa, restaurants 3 km away. The Hessentag town of Fritzlar and the half-timbered town of Melsungen are 15 minutes away from the Edersee.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Holidays in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Time Out – “La Casita” garden house in the countryside

Wooden house 13 sqm in the middle of our large orchard with mini kitchen, wood-burning stove, outhouse and solar power. There are 2 beds that can be set up as a double bed or single beds. Consciously kept simple, no TV and Wi-Fi, but plenty of PEACE and NATURE. The garden with swing, fireplace and teepee (in summer) is available. The house is 30 m away and there is a shower room that can be used from 7:30 am to 10 pm and where the dirty dishes can be handed in.
