The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). Our beautiful house is available for friends and families who love the island feeling. It has a large garden, with lots of space for playing football or badminton. There is a sauna, an extra living room in the basement with a large TV (great for the kids). In autumn and winter times you can enjoy the fireplace in the cozy living room. Books and games are available, and the fully equipped kitchen is ready for your cooking adventures. Please note: during holidays the minimum stay is a week.

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

The houses at the park are both permanently inhabited and rented for vacation. You can go hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities like Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Just across the Afsluitdijk in the middle of the Frisian meadow, you will stay in a wonderful holiday home with a nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to enjoy long cocktails and tables. Inside or outside! The garden is a lovely place for children to play and you can enjoy the setting sun here until late. Our house is near the Makkum beach, forests, lakes and various Frisian "eleven cities".

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and has all the comforts. You can stay with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also there. And most importantly, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3pm and check-out until 12pm.
