We are renting a Garconniere in a private house in Salzburg/Gneis with a kitchenette and bathroom. It is situated in the basement of the house. The house has a nice garden, there is also a place for our guests. The bus nr. 5 is 5 minutes walk away and leads directly into town (12 min) or the train station (23 min). Parking on the street is for free.From here you visit the famous Salzkammergut lakes,St.Wolfgang and Hallstatt in daily tours.

Apartment in a 19th century house, for 1- 4 in the old center beneath the castle/ monastry (sound of music), very calm, clean and cosy, ten minutes walk to the Mozartplatz, 15 minutes by bus from the trainstation. For our guests with toddlers/small children we are very happy to offer a Thule Sport 2 carriage for lend (10 euros/day). This way you can explore Salzburg by foot also with small children!

The couple who owns the place are incredibly kind. She even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens for breakfast, along with beautiful flowers from her garden. The apartment is very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated with taste. The hosts have very nice taste. Our host always replies promptly and is attentive to making sure we have a pleasant stay. When we had a slight concern upon check-in and contacted her, she resolved it within minutes. We requested a crib and she was very attentive, even adding a cute doll for us. I would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The kitchen was well equipped so no issues with cooking, and the local bus that ran straight into Salzburg was mere minutes away, meaning we could leave the car and the added hassle of parking. Comfy bed and great shower after long days exploring. An added bonus was the friendly (neighbours?) cat that loved pats and snuggles!
