Room with view of the countryside

DanielaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
For me, it was the perfect break from Berlin: everything sparkling clean, wonderful house with garden, green around it, very lovely hostess. It is best to click on the route description from Ines in the advertisement, this also lists the 197 bus, which also runs on weekends from Ahrensfelde station. Get off at the 'Rabensteiner Straße' stop (there is also an ALDI there), coming from the bus turn right into Golliner Straße, then right again past the daycare center down to the footpath on the Wuhle. Don't be surprised, it goes slightly downhill. From the Wuhle footpath, turn right again at the next bend and after a small stretch of forest you will reach the Eichner Grenzweg. Go straight ahead and you will arrive directly at the Rehwiese (Google map also shows the way beautifully). Nice to walk and - very important - the 197 bus runs on Saturdays, Sundays and also on public holidays.

Room with own bath at Lake Tegel

Angela is a wonderful host! During my stay she was a very attentive and hospitable person. The room is comfortable, just as described and around there are good and economical restaurants. As for the location, it is a little far from the city center but transportation is very close to the Air bnb. Would stay again with Angela 😊

Private room, on the outskirts of Berlin (pure nature).

The room is really extremely cozy with a desk and a super bed! Mäggi is super nice and let me check in despite arriving after midnight due to a missed flight. I felt at home with her :) Highly recommended!

Cozy, green paradise in vibrant neighbourhood

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My boyfriend and I spent 5 days in Berlin and felt completely at home in Esteban and Iro’s apartment. The place is spacious, very cozy thanks to all the plants, and everything was clean and well taken care of. We had plenty of privacy, and sharing the apartment with Iro felt easy and comfortable. We also really appreciated the flexibility with our late check-out — it made our departure much more relaxed. The neighbourhood is great, full of nice spots to eat, have a drink, or just enjoy time with friends. Even though some nearby bars stay open late, the apartment is in a quiet area, so we didn’t have any issues with noise. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we’d be happy to come back!

Above the rooftops of Berlin

I will just say that my only problem with my stay with Andreas & Bruni was that it was too short. They are an engaging and welcoming couple that I really enjoyed spending time with. My first time in Berlin and I wouldn’t change anything except that 3/4 days is not anywhere near enough time to explore such a compelling and consequential city. A proviso - I was attracted to staying a little further out of the city centre, the connections from their neighbourhood in Pankow to the city centre are excellent and shouldn’t put anyone off choosing to stay there. Personally I appreciated the calm it provided after a day of exploring and it gives you some sense of everyday life in Berlin. Bruni was an excellent walking companion, Andreas makes wonderful bread, and Luna their non-human companion, the sweetest canine I have met the other side of the English Channel. I hope to stay with them again.
