Berlin-Mitte is 30 km away, the A 10 highway connection is about 10 km. Good regional train connection to Berlin-Ostkreuz (travel time approx. 40 minutes) in Werneuchen, 2.5 km away. In the surrounding area you can (cycle) hike and swim in lakes.

The castle island as well as the old town with all amenities are within walking distance. In summer you can swim in the river pool or in Lake Müggelsee. We rent a small, cozy vacation apartment with a separate entrance in our own house. Right next to the "Gardens of the World" we have a lot of greenery around us, free parking and good shopping. By bus you are at the U-Bahn [subway] and S-Bahn [suburban train] (5) in 15 minutes and can easily explore the sights of Berlin.
