Suzanne’s cottage is super charming and comfortable! The grounds are gorgeous, the bed is comfy, and there were so many thoughtful touches. She knew it was our anniversary and left a bottle of champagne for us in the fridge, we had our kids with us, so she left smores makings. It’s definitely a small space, but we were there for just one night, and it was fine for our family of 4 with the kids sharing the futon. The new a/c unit kept us cool inside. We had fun watching frogs on the lily pad pond and feeding the chickens. This was a great spot for an overnight getaway, and we will definitely be back!

Janet was a wonderful host. She was incredibly responsive and made the weekend so easy. We loved her place, too!

I’ve stayed in several BnBs in this area. This was the best! We made good use of the fully equipped kitchen. Everything felt new and clean. The location was beautiful and peaceful with deer coming by every morning among the pines. The number and variety of items ranging from medicines to hair accessories, and lotions and soaps was an unexpected surprise. Nice personal touch. Looking forward to my next stay with Kathryn.

Thank you, Darla, for hosting us in your very cute cottage. We were very comfortable, and were able to rest after having played pickleball for so many days in a row. It was quiet and relaxing, and yet we ended up finding another pickleball court within walking distance, and enjoyed playing there too. Parking was easy and simple, and the cottage was the perfect size for 2 adults. Huge plus to having a laundry/dryer inside! Overall, great place to stay!

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

We had a wonderful stay at Chula’s peaceful retreat in Nevada City! From the start, she was incredibly communicative, making the booking process smooth and ensuring we felt secure about our stay. The space itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the thoughtful amenities made it feel extra welcoming. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub—my husband and I absolutely loved it! If you’re looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway, this is the perfect spot. We’d love to return!

Katrina’s place is lovely. The space is small but doesn’t feel like it due to the thoughtful minimalist design and open layout. It’s spotless, very stylishly decorated, and I felt spoiled with the luxurious bath products. Location is central to both Nevada City and Grass Valley, each within a 10 minute drive, and so fun to walk around and explore. The surrounding area is walkable too with a few dining options and groceries all within a 5 minutes walk. Katrina was very proactive providing a pretty detailed guide for the stay and the local area, friendly, and responsive. Overall, a very pleasant stay…absolutely recommend! :)

Angela is delightful and incredibly helpful, and her place is beautiful and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and will certainly be back.

Overall, the experience was really great. It was in a secluded area with a great view. It was within a few miles of local amenities and restaurants. If I’m ever in the area again, I would like to stay here.

We only stayed for a night but it was exactly what we needed. Quiet, surrounded by trees and easy check in and out!

Kristin’s place was wonderful. We appreciated the thoughtful design and enjoyed the patio quite a bit. Very peaceful hearing the birds and crickets.

Very simple but well furnished place. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Grass Valley and Nevada City have a small town feel with unlimited hiking and outdoor activities.

I came to this place leaving a toxic relationship. And I just recently achieved 30 days sobriety. I tell you just because maybe someone out there is like me and needs some help. Once I walked into the room, I was just checking back by how peaceful it was and the vibration was all about healing. Joy was nothing short of amazing as far as communication. It turns out she’s a holistic therapist as well. Her husband was a cool guy and her son was friendly too. And their dog is rad just a cool dog and my dog Scarlet and he played together for a little bit and it was cool. I really needed this place and I look forward to staying here again when I need to just go somewhere decompress I would recommend a spot to anybody. And if you like books, there’s so many books to read I mean it’s awesome and I’ve been a great job of building out the room to look amazing and feel amazing. Don’t hesitate to grab this up if you need to.

Right off the bat let me just say that I will be back! Shayan's place was exactly what I was looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle for a couple days. Waking up to the sunrise was priceless, and the sauna followed by a cold plunge to start of my mornings took me to a whole other level. At night, its well worth watching the moon rise and looking up at the stars. I would not recommend arriving here for the first time in the dark...it's pitch black LOL. I overlooked that but Shayan was extremely helpful in getting me situated. Speaking of Shayan, if there was an award for #1 AirBnB host, he has earned it. Super chill, super responsive, and all his recommendations were spot on. He really went out of his way to make sure I had the most relaxing stay possible. Overall, the time spent at Shayan's place was well worth it and exceeded my expectations. The value for the money was great and it's perfect for a solo/couples trip

A wonderful place to stay when visiting the area. Friendly hosts, beautiful setting, and lovely spaces to sit outside. A top notch Airbnb.

Wonderful host, location, and space. Clean, quiet, and convenient to the shops and attractions of Grass Valley. The stairs to the third-floor bedroom are very steep and not suited to anyone with balance or mobility issues, but we found the whole place and experience to be delightful. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Tracy’s and Zach’s was wonderful. Such a sunny environment with lovely views of trees from the windows. The unit was immaculate and cheerful. Zach and Tracy responded quickly to our questions. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Beautiful place is very quite in the country in the morning you hear all the birds I got to see a deer very close to de house live it

This is an awesome place! i travel with my mom (she's 82) gk visit family as much as we can, so we look for great airbnbs so we can cook for ourselves and enjoy low-key hang-time. This absolutely fit the bill. It's adorable with a little bridge to the wraparound deck. The kitchen has all things needful, and like I said, I cook all our meals (restaurants aren't as healthy). And a great coffee maker - super important. It's just got all the right stuff, in exact proportion to the space. Just perfect! It's only a couple minutes from hwy 80, but it's so quiet up in the trees. Loved our stay!!! 😊

We had an amazing time at Barbara’s place. She was very proactive and accommodating which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was spotless, spacious and extremely quiet. That was the perfect place to stay while visiting beautiful Nevada City and its surroundings.

It’s refreshing when a host puts in a little extra effort to make an AirBnB an elevated stay. Richard provided me with a curated stack of LPs, which was a fun and novel experience. The kitchen and coffee station were generously stocked. The house is beautiful, quiet, nicely designed, and uncluttered. My kids loved the gentle dog who lives on the property. This place is conveniently located close to town and close to the highway making it quick to get around.
