Bell View Cottage

PetraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Bell View Cottage for just one night, but if we had known how lovely both the cottage and Gardenstown were, we definitely would have stayed longer. There were three of us, and the fold-out bed in the living room worked perfectly alongside the bedroom setup. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a modern interior and has everything you might need. It was also spotlessly clean. We were able to load and unload the car right next to the church, and parking was available just a short walk down the hill. We had a delicious dinner at the Garden Arms Hotel and really enjoyed the local atmosphere. Communication with Shelly was excellent—she responded very quickly and was available for any questions throughout our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return for a longer visit next time.

Granny’s Hoosie - Shorefront Cottage

The cottage is absolutely lovely – really cosy and spacious – and had everything we needed. We had a great stay and encountered no issues at all. We loved the view from the kitchen window and seen some seals. Anne replied very quickly and answered all the queries that I had. Amazing!!

Unique Straw Bale Eco Lodge by the water

DonnaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had the most relaxed, wonderful , tranquil 4 night stay in the lodge and can't wait to come back! The lodge had everything we needed for a cosy few nights and the location is utterly stunning and so peaceful with friendly ducks, swans, herons ane even met a badger on a dog walk. Lodge was immaculately clean and the bed was one of the comfiest we have ever slept in and we travel alot around Scotland. Location is excellent for exploring nearbly beaches and villages. Dan and Louisa were fantastic hosts, kept us informed but were non invasive to our privacy but knew they were there if needed. The extra touches were lovely (binoculars left were great to spot local wildlife and the chocolate and drinks were lovely - thanks! :-)) Plenty of wood was supplied for both our outdoor firepit and indoor which was and well used lol. Shower and cooking facilities were also great. Dan and Louisa have obviously put alot of thought and effort into this simply beautiful ECO lodge its amazing!!
