Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Bedford

Staying at the Mermaid Cottage was such a refreshing and relaxing experience. The cottage is cozy, clean and made us feel right at home. Stephen included instructions and local recommendations in the house guide, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location does require a car - or Uber - but it is extremely worth it! We would love to return in the future. Truly a wonderful stay.

I’ve been on Airbnb for quite some time and this was the best place I’ve ever stayed at and I would absolutely stay there again. The pictures do not do justice how beautiful the view is. My family and I stayed for a week and we did not want to leave. Lots of amenities like you was at home.

Tina's BnB is so peaceful and in a beautiful setting with a beach. The cottage is right on the bay - sunsets are stunning. The bed is very comfortable, which is unusual for most BnBs. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and I slept well each night! Everything was clean. Even though I ate out nightly, the kitchen had all that you need to prepare a dinner. There is also a shed with beach toys and chairs. Tina checked in a few times through the message app and offered assistance, but I had everything I needed. I loved my stay and will return in the future!

The place was incredible. It was beautifully kept and clean down to the sheets and towels. The view is unbelievable of the water right across the road. There is a beautiful park right next to the house if you have little ones that need to run. The kitchen was pristine, with wonderful appliances. The bedroom on the first floor was perfect for my mother-in-law, who can't walk up the steps. She had her own bathroom with a shower to herself. The rest of the bedrooms were upstairs. The beds were so comfortable, you didn't want to get up. She has provided so many extras, like shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee and creamer. We honestly didn't have to go out to get any supplies. It was pouring when we arrived, and having the ability to open the garage and unload was extremely appreciated. I can't say anything bad about the place, I guarantee you will love it. My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely! The house was clean, everything was easy to find, and we were comfortable there. The neighborhood is quiet with a beach and walking trails close by. Seeing the wild turkeys made the whole trip special. Donna was very helpful and responded to my questions quickly and nicely. Her note and gift of Portuguese bread was heartwarming and unique! I'd recommend this Airbnb to friends and family and if we're back in that area again we'll be staying at Donna's house!!

Absolutely LOVE staying at Anna’s home that she graciously shares! Her home is like coming to your favorite aunts house while she is out of town and you just get to chill out and enjoy the area!! Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to what I’ll call the “mall area” that has everything usually around a mall. Definitely check out The Head Landing Country Store for their coffee and DELICIOUS home baked goodies!!!

Oceans 11 was top notch!! They provided everything we needed for a few days of exploring and relaxing! The sign Welcoming our family was so special. The home was so comfortable and very clean. We loved our private beach and the neighbors were so sweet and kind enough to share cucumbers and tomatoes from his garden. We visited the Zoo and The Ice cream cottage provided a yummy summer treat! We did some antiquing and visited some great restaurants. We would definitely recommend this home and would book it again!! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Such a cute, perfect-sized place! We loved staying here for our honeymoon. We didn’t explore much of Providence but traveled to a lot of other near by areas just an hour away— Cape Cod, Boston, Newport, Block Island etc. It made a perfect home base for seeing a ton of cool places. Traffic in and out wasn’t bad either. The place was so bright and clean and comfy.

We had a perfect stay — travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging but Debora provided everything we needed to make the stay comfortable (cot, high chair, bath, even cutlery!) and it really felt like a home away from home. The airbnb was spotless, it’s a good location in Fall River walking distance from a playground, parking was super easy, and we loved our stay.

Francisco's place was absolutely perfect for what we needed! It was clean, comfortable, very cute and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

This was one of my top 5 airbnb stays for so many reasons! The weather was cool enough for a fire and then I could go to sleep with the breeze coming in the windows to the sound of the sea and then wake up to the sound of birds chirping! The hosts had thought of every kind of provision, including hard boiled eggs, pastries, light snacks and cold water. Coffee and tea for any time of day. The walk to the beach was perfect and then a fire at night made it exceptional. I will definitely be back!

Carmen was readily available. The energy was great. Beautiful home, area, and surrounded by nature. You have everything you could need and more!

We had to change our travel plan a couple of times, and Jennifer was always very understanding, flexible, and did her best to work with us. There is a little "town square" only a block or so away from the house, which was a delightful surprise for us. You can find restaurants, CVS, and a few other charming little stores there. And of course, the house is an easy 5-6 min drive to Brown and RISD. Lovely, pleasant, and convenient place to stay. Would like to reserve again for our future college visits in the area. We had a lovely stay at Pelham Court! The location was absolutely amazing- walkable to so many things but quiet. The place was spacious, clean and homey. The LavAzza coffee machine was a great touch, as were the full size appliances (and built in ice maker)! On site parking was more valuable than anticipated. Just a short drive to all the other Newport attractions, and it was so nice to be able to know you weren’t losing your valuable Peking spot upon your return. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Newport!

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊
