Family-friendly holiday rentals in New Glasgow

Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house is spacious and wonderful. Having a private beach just up the road was amazing. We dug clams and made our own chowder. It doesn’t get better than that! Except maybe Bob and Hannah’s friendliness and care. We’ll remember our stay at the Flat River Farmhouse for a long, long time.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Mark and Mary Ellen's. They were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The cottage was equipped with literally everything you could think of to make yourself right at home. The kids LOVED exploring the beach each day or just playing in the yard and the hot tub. The trip to Charlottetown was very close and we were able to explore downtown and enjoy plenty of great seafood spots. Thank you so much for a great vacation!!

Loved our stay even if it was only one night

Tamzin & Ryan have thought of every detail for guests. The house was beautiful - well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, games indoor and outdoor for all ages, and the most perfect yard to keep families entertained. They provided added personal touches, such as treats for our group of hockey kids. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating, and checked in throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. We all absolutely loved this property and can not wait to visit again next year with our group!

We had a lovely time. Cozy, warm, comfy cottage. Very comfortable beds. The wood stove at this time of year was perfect. It’s really not a cottage without a wood burning stove or fireplace. There were a number of unforeseen occurrences (e.g. power outage, electronic device failure) during our visit, all taken care of beautifully by staff and owners! Thank you!

We had a great stay, the deck is such a great space to enjoy at the end of a day. Kitchen while still under some renovation didn’t take from experience. Great space to cook as a family! Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing time at this unique guesthouse! The home had so much character and the hosts were great! Breathtaking views, and peaceful, quiet location. Awesome walking trail to take it all in!

Amazing views. Cozy cottage with everything you need. Seen lots of wildlife, seals, bald eagle and a nice deer came strolling by while I had my tea on the deck. Had a wonderful relaxing week. Host was very friendly. Would recommend.

We loved our time at this airbnb with the family! it was a beautiful view and the home was so cozy 😍 Our family enjoyed our stay and it was extremely well stocked. we especially enjoyed the baby swing they had for our 6 week old. Hosts are great, we highly reccomend!

This is the fourth year my friends and I have stayed at Steve's place. We love the location, with direct access to the beach. Steve has tons of amenities and it really is a relaxing weekend. Hope to continue the tradition!

Donna's place was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well supplied for making meals. I also appreciated the ample parking (two full-sized pick-up trucks fit easily) and proximity to great places to eat (I was sometimes too tired to use the fine kitchen)! Donna made the stay easy and convenient - thanks!

We had the most amazing stay at this little sanctuary farm! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and the kindest hosts you could ask for. The domes are absolutely stunning—so comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and filled with beautiful, extra-loving touches that made us feel right at home. Annika and Kevin were wonderful. They took the time to share their knowledge about farm life and gardening, and it was such a joy to learn from them. One of the highlights of our stay was spending time with the animals—such a unique and heartwarming experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape in a magical setting, this is the place. Valerie’s place was exactly as pictured. Beds were so comfy we checked to see what mattress she had lol! Lots of space for the 9 of us with 2 dogs and the kitchen had everything you could ever need. A few us were trying to find available times in the summer to come back! Pool wasn’t open yet but we did to enjoy the hottub. That sunroom…all I wanted was a big comfy chair in there and never have to leave. Great house for a fun family weekend!

The cabin was quaint and charming, cosy and peaceful. Paddle boat was a fun bonus and the included firewood for our private firepit was a great added touch! Local recommendations and very friendly hosts made our stay really lovely. Thank you!

What a lovely spot! Getting up to a view of the cows in a field overlooking beautiful Antigonish Harbour was a fantastic treat. Nathanael was wonderful host, the AirBnb was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Great hosts who came to the unit as they saw us pull in to give us some helpful instructions. They even dropped off an extra bin of firewood as ours was damp from the weekend of rain. Highly recommend this place, it was beautiful! Perfect covered shelter for our rain filled stay that enabled us to enjoy to view while staying dry

We absolutely loved our stay at cabin #4. I have stayed at similar cabins in Nova Scotia, but this one was truly something special. While the other reviews correctly point out that the walls in the bedrooms don’t go all the way to the ceiling, there is an entryway between the rooms and we found them adequately private. The cabin was beautiful and rustic and the setting was unbeatable. We hope to be back, and for longer next time!
