Apartment holiday rentals in New River Valley

We had a very nice stay at the Sunflower Suite. Patricia and Gene's place is super comfortable, quiet, and spotless. We felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the morning. We would happily stay here again.

My husband, son, and I had a great time staying at the "Chic 1920s Lounge, Vintage Vibes." The historic area of Cambria is very quaint but still very conveniently located to the Christiansburg business district. The decor was very fun and set it apart. The place was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the hosts were great! Would definitely recommend.

Alex’s space truly felt like an extension of their home (and mine)! We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations, this is definitely one of the top Airbnb locations we have stayed in. Alex went above and beyond by giving a gift for our daughter graduating from VT which was the reason for our visit. Blacksburg is a wonderful place overall!

Joe’s place was in a great proximity to the local colleges, which is what we were there to see, so it worked out perfectly. Cleanliness is a big deal for me, so the fact that this place was spotless put me at complete ease.

The description said recently remodeled and it was accurate. Very upscale renovations, the bathroom even had the seat warmer and bidet, the shower was sensational, plenty of towels. The kitchen was all brand new appliances and tasteful living space with large screen tv there and one in the bedroom. The bedroom is light filled with 3 windows. Very comfy mattress and pillows. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of free curbside parking right out front. Easy to walk to downtown Roanoke for restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend breakfast at Our Daily Bread-just two short blocks away.

Safe location close to the highways, loved the extra little amenities like coffee takeout cups and emergency toiletries. This was a perfect spot to lay our heads while travelling through the area - quick easy drive to campus as well.

I lived in (Roanoke) for 25 years and I come back frequently for work. Out of necessity, I had to look for a new Airbnb to stay at. So I was leery at first. However, this place is excellent. Great location, super clean and quiet. There is an apartment upstairs, but the people were very quiet and I had no issues. Will be returning soon.

This is a stunning spot on Groundhog Mountain/Doe Run. We enjoyed time out on the deck with the tabletop firepit, comfy chairs, and it was completely enclosed so our dog could be out with us, which was great! Haley’s place was immaculate, well provisioned, had comfortable mattresses, handy to the Parkway, not far from the Olde Mill and the Maples Restaurant and secluded, tucked in to lush foliage. I would highly recommend staying there, if you love being in the mountains and woods, it’s a beautiful spot! She was also extremely responsive and very flexible, which we really appreciated.

Apartment was roomy and clean. We enjoyed the stay. Great place for a large family plenty of bathrooms. We would book again if we return to Roanoke.

The stay was wonderful! Michelle is very responsive and so kind! The condo was clean, spacious, welcoming and had everything we needed. It was truly a home away from home! The location is unbeatable within walking distance to campus, restaurants and shopping. We truly enjoyed our stay and it really helped make our son’s graduation special. This was a great stay! The pictures don’t do it justice, this is a very spacious layout. 1) Super comfy bed! 2) Great coffee and tea options 3) Actual full size fridge and freezer (nobody has this is a one room property!) 4) Really nice shower 5) Great couch- perfect set up for lounging and watching TV. Very pretty and peaceful, and rose bushes outside the window! Would def stay again. Thanks so much:)

Philip and Katie’s studio is lovely! It was so great to come back to after a long day. They are incredibly responsive, kind hosts. This is noted in the description, but be aware that you will hear the sounds of family life fairly early in the morning, so if you are a late sleeper you may want to consider that. (I was up early for work, so it was no issue). Great location on a quiet street, but still walkable (or a VERY short drive) to Main Street and lots of restaurants. Definitely a great stay, and I will book it again the next time I’m in Blacksburg!

The place was very clean and easily accessible. David was very responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable, there was coffee and all sorts of toiletries available in case something was left behind!

We truly enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided. We were able to ride our bicycles on the New River Trail in Galax. This was our second stay at Brian’s place and he excels in providing excellent amenities. The facilities were exceptionally clean and everything we needed was provided.

We had a wonderful stay while in for a wedding. The cottage is so cute and homey. It has everything you need for a great stay plus some thoughtful extras. I must also say the beds are so comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end our days. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay in Floyd was incredibly peaceful—tucked in the heart of nature, quiet, private, and serene. Kathryn was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. The kitchen was well stocked. We also attended a beautiful Mother’s Day gathering in the main house with music and a potluck, which was truly special. The hosts made the entire experience even more memorable. We loved every moment!

Beautiful location! Great amenities! Stayed with my two young kids and loved having a full kitchen. View from the patio was beautiful. The location was serene. Hikes, pools, hot tubs, everything we needed right there! Easy to grab snacks and breakfast from the grill at the club house. Will definitely stay here again!

We not only enjoyed the lake, boating, kayaking, hot tubbing and all we needed to have s'mores in your fire pit by the river, but really enjoyed meeting and getting to know you as well. It's been wonderful staying here when visiting Pilot Mountain & Hanging Rock State Parks. The spa is not to be missed. Jaime's place is outstanding! We have been here twice now and looking forward to our next trip back.

WOW! What a gem. This was perfect for graduation weekend. Carol was the hostess with the mostest. We loved the private space and beautiful view from the deck. Really appreciated the full kitchen space. Every little amenity Carol provided made our trip complete. Can’t wait to go back.
