Great communication and a pleasant stay.

The house was immediately welcoming upon entry with plenty of space for a large family gathering (though we arrived as only three of us). The massive table and kitchen was well laid out. The upstairs was a fun set up with its five or six different beds. We all got to choose the one that fit our personalities the best (and there were plenty of options to choose from). This morning before checking out we saw some baby deer frolicking and chasing each other around outside in the trees while we drank our coffee. If we have the opportunity we will absolutely rent this place again for another family trip. Thank you Amanda for the perfect little experience in the middle of our road trip!

I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

Fun tiny house with everything you need. Zucchini bread toasted with butter, all provided, was delicious. Finally a rarity lately in these rentals, instructions said do nothing at checkout!

Perfect place to stay for our hiking trip. The location was not far from some great food and breweries as well. And near many parks. The snacks in the room were very helpful after a long day hiking. Internet worked great and was able to watch tv. AC cooled perfectly.

We had an amazing time! We ended up being the only folks out there and that made it even better. It's was clean and easy check-in/out. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to music. It was right down the road from downtown which is exactly what we wanted. We visit Floyd, VA at least twice a year & we are always looking for a place to stay regularly and we may have found it! Looking forward to brining my daughter with us next time!

Cute, little, cozy place to just lay your head at night. Only issue we had was due to rain, not the host, truck got a little stuck but again due to rain. Loved the animals and host was fast with clear driving directions and other questions.

For peace and quiet in a beautiful location, this is your spot. Great accommodations within an easy drive of Sparta and West Jefferson for small town attractions with genuinely nice people. Recommend bringing fishing rod for the pond and binoculars for wildlife sightings. Use Google maps instead of Waze for the address for ease of initial arrival. We’ll definitely be repeat guests!

This was our first time staying at an AirBnB and will not be our last. We were impressed! Paula’s SheShed was amazing! The view alone was worth it, you feel as if you are on top of the world. The SheShed is rustic looking but that is all that is rustic. It has everything you could ever want and Paula made sure you knew where everything was. She even went as far as leaving us a bottle of wine, glasses and a card from a local winery since she knew we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The place is clean, very well appointed. There is even wood for the fire pit and gas for the grill. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows which is something I’m picky about to my Husbands frustration, lol! If you are going to just relax, explore the area or just vegetate for a few days this is the perfect place. It is quiet and relaxing. Sparta and Mt Airy aren’t far if you need more.

was gorgeous and loved that it was raining our whole stay. made the cabin look and feel so cozy. very relaxing and enjoyed traveling out to all the different sites to see. our host was very welcoming, friendly and responsive.

This place was an absolute dream come true. I have been feeling so stressed out from life and 2 days here with my pup and I feel like a new woman. The location is absolutely breathtaking. We saw deer and turkeys and had a blast fishing at the pond. We caught about 10 fish in 2 days. I will absolutely be back. The hosts made us feel right at home and had all the special touches to make me feel like the most important guest!

My family of 4 had a wonderful time kicking back and relaxing at Happy Place! We especially loved the deck for enjoying the mountain air and grilling out. Inside, the pull out bed was shockingly comfortable. We loved the modern decor, ample kitchen supplies and the huge windows bringing in the sunlight. Allison was responsive to a few questions we had and a great host. Would definitely tell stay here again!

Scott's place was such a nice getaway for us! The cabin was super cute with the upstairs loft and had beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful and private and felt very safe. Although we didn't get a chance to use them, the fishing poles and tackle box was a cute addition/activity option. We would definitely recommend Scott's place!

We stayed at the cabin for the weekend and absolutely loved it! Highlights included the walking trails around the property, the peaceful and private setting, great outdoor seating spaces, and the super comfy bed.

Sitting within the peaceful hills right outside of Pilot Mountain, this cabin immediately stole my heart. The home was charming, clean, and very easy to settle into. The hosts were accommodating and friendly, which made the experience that much more pleasant. A Squirrels Paradise really made me feel at home, I never wanted to leave!

This was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. The location and surrounding land was just pure joy. Such a great get away, hope to do it again soon

This spot is a little slice of heaven! It has everything you need for a wonderful escape to the foothills. The A frame shelter is adorable, the toilet is a nice addition, and the picnic table and fire pit round out the fun. Plenty of sand for the kids (and our dog!) to play in. Listening to the creek while watching the horses graze was a wonderful way to spend the weekend. Also, the spot is within 15 minutes of at least 3 wineries, also kid and pet friendly. Hiking trails are also very accessible. We would love to come back with a group! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with quiet, solitude, and stars, book now!

My partner and I loved our stay at Tiny Home! We stayed for a quick weekend getaway to do some local hiking such as the Cascade Falls, and we also checked out Carvins Cove, both are an absolute must! The views on the property were absolutely stunning, and there was a cute kitty that came to say hello :) The trails on the property are beautiful and a nice touch! Stacey’s father went above and beyond and immediately went out and fixed some bridges that fell down due to the recent rain storm when we told them we were going to hike the property! 10/10 would stay here again!

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. Only there one night but would gladly stay longer. She had so many extra touches that made you feel very welcome.

Lisa's cabin was perfect for a family getaway! The cabin was super clean and was better than the pictures. The cabin was private and most bedrooms had a good amount of privacy. The attention to detail was beautiful and the location was perfect. Lisa was very responsive and accommodating to our group. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to families, groups of friends, or even for a romantic getaway.

Repeat guest with another awesome stay @ Emma & Justin’s place. Very cute & inviting space, spotlessly clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Responsive hosts and great location to downtown Roanoke. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to the next visit.

We absolutely loved Jennifer's property! We were looking for a place to get a away for a few days and enjoy some family time away from the hustle and bustle and boy was this perfect! So many games and activities to keep the whole family busy. Favorite part was just enjoying the outside and watching the wildlife. We saw gophers, deer, a rabbit and so much more! Would absolutely love coming back in the future! Also, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very responsive and great to work with regarding everything on the property experience.
