Guesthouse holiday rentals in New Zealand

Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Just loved waking up to the beautiful view in quiet surroundings, and watching the birds enjoy the bird feeder. Lots of space to sit quietly. Perfect after a busy day in the city.

This place was amazing, only stayed one night and was planning to have dinner in the city, but once we saw the views from the front patio - we decided to stay in for dinner and watch the sunset from home !! Very clean place as well, and impressed by how many amenities they provided. Would definitely stay here again !

We had a fantastic couple of days staying at Kathy and Bryon’s. The food that was provided was very much appreciated and the place was clean and tidy as it looked in the pictures. You are only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the local cafe which is very good. We would happily stay again.

Very peaceful, private and sunny. Felt like it was brand new. Anita is so friendly. And the home made bread was delish! Would highly recommend.

Colleen’s place is such a lovely place to stay, I especially loved the views out over the park. Everything inside was carefully thought through to add to your comfort including good coffee and great shower. Colleen was a particularly thoughtful host.

Highly recommended. The hosts were incredible and very helpful. We travelled from Sydney with our 14 month old bub and we were able to check in 4 hours early to settle in. The place is beautiful, nice and tidy with great views. Definitely staying here again.

This place was 10/10. Lovely spot for a dreamy night away! Emma was so kind and catered for my celiac partner. The bath was so luxurious, and gazing at the stars at night in such a beautiful location on a stunning property. And lovely to have our gorgeous breakfast amongst the bird sounds on the deck in the morning.

was a great getaway, great location and the spa was a bonus at the end of the day . the inside was well thought out and clean and tidy and very functional. great hosts very communicate and fast to reply . will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area . thanks Megan

An excellent little hideaway in Raglan. Great for decompressing in a quiet and beautiful setting. Lots of privacy. Bomber little surf town too if that’s your thing. Highly recommend. I’ll be back in the future. Thanks for a great stay, Sarah!

We had a brief stay and it was perfect, Loved the quiet beautiful surrounds. If only we were there a few more nights to do more of the walks and use the hot tub. Thanks for being such a welcoming and friendly host.

We had a wonderful stay at Zelda’s place in Twizel! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had a beautiful view of the mountains — truly a perfect spot to unwind. Its location was also ideal, being just a short drive to the town center with easy access to supermarkets and great local restaurants. Zelda was an incredibly kind and welcoming host, and we really appreciated her hospitality. It was also such a joy to meet her lovely dog, Bea — she made our stay even more special. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us, Zelda. We’d love to return one day!

Claire and Terry are amazing hosts. Claire was always responsive and helpful with all the questions I had. A beautiful place with great views of Mount Taranaki that I enjoyed thoroughly during my stay. Highly recommend to others who are visiting New Plymouth now or in the future!! :)

Absolutely loved our stay! The view was breathtaking — waking up to the sunrise right from the bed with the mountain in sight was truly magical. The spa was perfectly placed for soaking under a sky full of stars, and every little detail in the space was so thoughtfully planned. It’s clear that a lot of care and love went into designing this place. Peaceful, cozy, and beautifully connected with nature — we left feeling so refreshed. Can’t wait to come back!

Clean and comfortable space with everything you need. Comfy bed and bathroom was nice.

Cosy and beautiful apartment with a nice view to boot! Came with a nice little garden with a tree house and trampoline that kids will always want to jump in. About 8 min into the main town.

Keisha is very kind and generous host. She maintained and presented her property in such a beautiful manner and the location and the vibes that her bnb has it are commendable and luxiourious. Me and my wife stayed there for two days and we enjoyed our stay to a great extent. we had everything on hand whatever we wanted. keisha was always available for the help and assistance. We had such a lovely stay at Therese’s place ! So many little touches which were very welcomed after a long day exploring and traveling. The snacks and cereal and having a few condiments etc. always makes it easier for a family when traveling. Really comfortable stay and beautiful surroundings, coming from Aus it’s always so amazing for us to see mountains out the window. The location was close to town and groceries etc. and we spent both days around Mt Taranaki exploring and enjoying the walks. Thanks Therese we would come back for sure !

Absolutely heavenly stay! This luxury house truly has everything you could ask for — stunning mountain views during the day and incredible stargazing at night. The peace and quiet made it the perfect escape. A special thanks to Judith for her warm hospitality and the delicious cheese scones waiting for us on arrival — such a thoughtful touch! The shower was an absolute standout, and the lounge, with its comfy Lazyboys, made it ideal for relaxing and watching our favourite shows. Highly recommend staying here for at least two nights — the longer, the better. We can’t wait to come back!

What a unique experience staying on an active farm! I really enjoyed walking the farm at sunrise and watching all the action. Many of the animals were curious and came right to the fence. The Tin Shed is a lot more than a shed - it's an amazing space with well appointed kitchen, very comfortable bed, nice living room area and spotless bathroom. The views are incredible and the outdoor space is very pleasant to hang out on. The stocked refrigerator and pantry kept us well-nourished. Wendy is an excellent host. Thank you!
