Cottage holiday rentals in Newquay

We spent 3 nights staying at the Mowhay. It was the perfect mix of peaceful hideaway whilst being well connected to major roads and local amenities. The accommodation was well laid out with a very well equipped kitchen. Claire was great at communicating from booking to check out and we met Geoff a couple of times during our stay who was super friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Beautiful traditional Cornish cottage located within a very peaceful village but only 10mins drive from loads of beautiful beaches. Added benefit of a hot tub which unfortunately we didn’t get to use with a 2 year old in tow! Would highly recommend.

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

A fabulous little hideaway perfect for dogs! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing break! The secure garden meant the dogs could roam freely and every detail was thought of. The house was immaculate and really comfortable and a great central base for exploring Cornwall. We WILL be back!

Tracy was very responsive and helpful. You immediately felt like she really cares that her guests have every comfort and feel welcome. The clotted cream and scones on arrival were a lovely touch that we really appreciated. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you can possibly need. The area was perfect for us and easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit us St Ives, Falmouth to name just two. Our only regret was that it was only a 3 night stay this time but we will be sure to return for longer next time.

We stayed at Mellinzeath 28 years ago for a week of our honeymoon, and decided to revisit for our anniversary. What a transformation! The property has been restored beautifully and sympathetically, and now feels loved again. Everything - the materials used for the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and equipment - is of excellent quality, and there are many little touches which make it extra welcoming. Even Obi, our dog, had his own welcome pack and a warm shower outside. This is a very special property in a tranquil, secluded setting, with nothing but the birds for company. Wish it had been like this for our honeymoon.....

One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in! Such a beautiful, cosy feeling, with everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. Loved the furnishings and vibe of the place, I can tell a lot of love has gone into it! Also the garden is just dreamy! Great friendly, communicative host!

Super friendly helpful hosts with a great cottage with everything you need for your stay. Comfy bed. Top notch power shower. Nice coffee machine. Cottage is edge of village with some fabulous views. Quiet and comfy accommodation. Walkable (5 minutes) friendly locals pub in village. Walkable (10 minutes) Spar supermarket and the lovely Kay’s Fish and Chip shop. Thanks Jim and Lyn. We stayed at Blackbird Studio for five nights and really enjoyed it as our base to explore Cornwall. While the weather wasn’t the best, the house made our stay memorable. The views are really stunning and you have your own little English garden. St Ives and various dog friendly beaches can be reached within a couple of minutes. The house was even more spacious than expected and equipped with everything you need. Lorna made sure we arrived safely and was always on hand. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is very (very!) narrow, but we managed to get through for unpacking/packing and parked in the little carveout by the road on the other days, which was completely fine.

Lovely cottage crammed with period features and charm. Fabulous host, really attentive and communicated pro actively. The location made it, you step out of the garden onto the Chappel Valley path which follows the steam, that flows through your garden, down to Chappel Porth Cove which is amazing. If the Cove looks like nothing special then it's high tide, when the tide goes out its miles of golden sand and hidden caves, stunning. Lovely coastal walk to StAgnes which is a lovely place to explore, so many lovely places to eat. The dressed crab at the Tap House is amazing. Arrival was lovely, Laura had left us a locally sourced cream tea, local teas and coffees, fresh flowers, even shampoos for our dog, so thoughtful. We absolutely loved our stay thank you

We have had a lovely week at Riverside Cottage, the cottage is picture perfect , very clean and had everything you could need. Adrian and Lucy were friendly, welcoming and helpful without intruding , they were very understanding of our anxious dog and the private, secluded garden at the garden was perfect, lovely local walks right next to the cottage. A perfect relaxing and restful stay. Will certainly go again.

We had such a lovely stay here. Perfect place for a couple to explore St Ives and further afield in Cornwall. Close to the leisure centre car park which made parking easy and less than 10 min walk downhill into the centre of the town (though was a little tiring going back up the hill!) The house was immaculate and very homely, perfect to cosy up in on the couple of rainy days we had and close to the beaches to enjoy the sunshine when it came out. Would be quite tight for more than two people, but was perfect for us. Always have a lovely time in St Ives and would definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Ideal central location for visiting the various coastal resorts in the area. The accommodation layout and facilities are perfect for a multi night stay. Liaison with Jenna was great.

Praze Barn is the loveliest place to stay for a peaceful retreat. We had the nicest time - the local area is amazingly beautiful and the barn felt fitting to return to as it was gorgeous, cozy and bright. Lots of great info about the area in the guide left in the house which was really useful. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you want a peaceful weekend away - perfect place to reset!

Lovely stay in Fraser and Melissa’s cottage. A great place to relax after a day exploring local beaches. Cosy, clean and all the amenities required.

What an incredible spot this place is! We attending Zoe’s accommodations over the weekend paying roughly £80 pp for 2 nights and it did not disappoint! We have stayed in many AirB&Bs across Europe and I could not believe the price of this one. It was spotless, furnished amazingly and the decor was perfect. Genuinely the best accommodation I have come across on this platform at such an affordable price. Check-in was smooth, checking out was a breeze and we had everything we needed, including an electronic booklet of recommendations! I will 100% be return to this spot 👌

We had the most amazing stay in Shona’s picture perfect cottage . It’s beautiful and the location could not be better . We felt right at home straight away and were sad to leave but can’t wait to book again . The garden is absolutely lovely too . Stunning property

This little cosy cottage is just perfect . From the moment you enter through the garden to sitting inside there is an air of peace and relaxation . The garden and raised area above are not overlooked and you can see and hear the sea . The king sized bed is so so comfortable; the kitchen really well equipped and the lounge perfect for sitting relaxing or reading . Our four nights felt like a week . You can walk to the beach by two different paths and up the valley to the mill and Bryan’s to St Mawgan . We loved every minute of being there .
