we have just returned from a 3 night stay at Judith's place and had an amazing time. There was two adults and two children and more than enough room for us all. The caravan was spotless and there is any amount of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. Beds were comfortable and the caravan is very modern and has a lovely view of the loch. The hot tub was a nice extra touch and we all enjoyed some time in that. If you're thinking of booking then I highly recommend Judith's place. she is also very responsive and helpful with messages. would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laigh Letterpin Lodge. We had many peaceful nights in the hot tub with spectacular farm views. The lodge itself is very private and secluded. Laigh Letterpin Lodge is very well thought out and was spotless on arrival. Everything exceed our expectations. Would definitely recommend to people who like peaceful weekend breaks.

Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

Leah & Lennox’s airbnb was the perfect stay. The lodge was exceptionally clean & the interior was so modern & homely. All amenities were great & the hot tub was super easy to use. The lodge is only a short drive from dumfries which was great for me and my partner as it allowed us to still train at the gym whilst we were away. The forest walk was the perfect start to our morning. The area was very peaceful & we started each morning with a coffee whilst watching the lambs. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay to celebrate my graduation & we cannot wait to return❤️

Trevor and Angels's van was an excellent overnight stop off on our way up to Skye. The van was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. There is a great walk round the beautiful lakes close to the site; a great place to stretch your legs and walk the dog, after a long journey.

We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Lodge. As a family of 6 with 2 dogs, we found the accommodation ample and spacious. When we arrived the lodge was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. we found the area very peaceful and there was plenty of places to visit. It was so nice to have such a lovely beach just a 5 minute walk away, the kids and dogs enjoyed it very much. we will definitely be back!

Perfect location for the surrounding area, including Forest of Mabie and Ae. We were a family of four, children 10 and 8. Short distance to Dumfries town centre which has selection of bars and food places. The cabin was rustic and unique, we found it very cosy and provided us with everything we needed. Kevin and Shirin were very friendly and responsive, they provided us with local history and information on things to do around us. The children enjoyed exploring in the woods behind the cabin and playing on grass area at the front of cabin. We definitely recommend staying here and would return.

The accommodation was cosy and pleasant, perfect for a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We loved the field at the back of the lodge and the sheep. Would have been great if we could have checked in from 2pm or have a later check out. Thank you for hosting us, it’s a place that I’ll def recommend to my friends.

Jan was an amazing host, going out of her way to get us an freezer, checking in and always quick to assist us with whatever we needed. Her caravan was clean and homely. It had everything we needed for our 5 weeks stay. Jan's caravan is conveniently located to many trail heads, grocery stores and services. The area is extremely dog friendly and the locals were very welcoming.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A group of 6 of us had an INCREDIBLE time! It's a beautiful modern cabin, spacious & clean with plenty of storage. Enough room for 3 cars to park at the cabin with no problems! Dog friendly (but no paws on the furniture!) Luna (my cocker spaniel) enjoyed some of the doggy biscuits left in a jar in the kitchen! The view of the lake is stunning, quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty to do nearby. Julie is a fabulous host, responsive and friendly! I would highly recommend this beautiful gem 💎 Cannot wait to come back!

I had a lovely stay in the Tobi cabin. I wasn’t there to fish, just a peaceful overnight getaway from the city. The cabin was clean and just as described, Carole was v responsive and very helpful. I highly recommend as a peaceful, quiet and friendly place. I’d love to comeback and spend some more time exploring local walks.

A lovely private place to stay. Very welcoming and lovely areas nearby. If anyone else goes here there is an amazing walk at the bottom of the river to check out!

Lovely place to stay, had everything you need. Beautiful surroundings. Plenty of info on places to go. Kam telephoned on our arrival to make sure all was ok and give advise re how to use heating etc . Loved the tasty shortbread and a nice cuppa on arrival from welcome pack. We had such a fantastic time at the lodge. The sunset was beautiful, the hot tub was lovely and spacious and the lodge itself was much bigger than we expected. There were lots of comfy spaces to relax and enjoy the nice weather. We will definitely be coming back!

A few relaxing days in a beautiful peaceful spot. Balm to the soul - looking at the view, listening to the bird song, and watching nature. Everything was as described. Highly recommended 😊

The caravan was beautiful, a home from home, we loved it. Hosts were very quick to respond to any requests. We went along to the bar on the Saturday, lovely welcoming staff too. We will definitely come back.

The place was absolutely gorgeous. The kids have enough room to run around. We love the balcony with the amazing view and the sound of nature. Despite the wet weather on our first and second day of stay the kids were happy to just launched around and kept them selves entertained with the box of Lego they found in the kids room 😆 it was absolutely what we wanted for the kids to be off screen. This place gave us the quality time we needed as a family. Thank you Tracey. We will definitely comeback for more.

We had such a great time here! Mark was super responsive and the place was absolutely beautiful, from the personal touches to the beautiful interior and surroundings. It was everything we could have asked for in a relaxing trip away. We will definitely be returning!
