Beautiful tranquil country cottage with private garden boasting spectacular views over the Pentland hills . The cottage is well situated for exploring the area, being just 5 minutes drive from Rosslyn chapel, (which you can also walk to from the cottage by following the path through the glen.)The Pentland hills are only 10 minutes drive, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to edinburgh city centre. It is a great place to come home to after a day of hillwalking ,working or sight seeing.

This is literally a home from home. We got an Uber from the rail station to the property, and then another to the airport the following day. We didn't use the kitchen as we took a walk to the local Parilla restaurant and had the best burgers we have had in our entire lives! This was a recommendation in the welcome pack. Everything was a next level of clean, and easy to use. If I fly from Edinburgh again, I would definitely book this over a hotel anyday.

Great house. Very comfortable with everything we need. Lovely garden and location. 5 mins walk to train and bus links to Edinburgh city centre. 10 mins walk to Dalkeith town centre. Good local walks and handy for supermarkets and local amenities. Host very helpful and attentive.
