Comme à la maison, un foyer plein d’amour et de partage: 1. Le logement est magnifique, propre et organisé. Les chambres sont très belles et spacieuses, la literie est bonne. Vous pouvez y faire vos lessives. Teresa fait tout son possible que ce soit confortable et c’est réussi ! 2. La localisation est très pratique, proches de quasiment tous les incontournables. Teresa nous a recommandé plusieurs activités à des tarifs défiant toute concurrence et dispensées par des prestataires locaux volontaires et impliqués. 3. Teresa est une raison en soit d’y loger. Elle est aux petits soins, intéressante et drôle, elle cuisine divinement et est à elle seule un incontournable de l’île. Vous perdriez à ne pas la rencontrer, notre séjour aurait un chouia fade sans elle. Au delà de cela, la communication avec Daniel a été très simple et efficace. Guillaume et Lucie

Everything during my stay went well. We checked in as per directions Rafael gave, he’s a very responsive host. The farm and house are gorgeous with views of the Volcano of Masaya wonderful sunsets and sunrises. There are goats and chickens that wander the farm, and various fruit trees which we picked from and tried. Rafael recommended places nearby that were amazing and worth experiencing. His home is rich with antiques from various countries and of a unique enjoyable taste. I loved staying here and if I plan a trip to Nicaragua again I’d stay here again and for even longer!

It was the best stay we could do before we needed to go back to Germany. It was a quiet place in the middle of the paradise. All the huts were built in another way. The place and every single thing were built with love, with a view for details. All was clean and kitchen was nice to cook on an open fire. We really calmed down and never wanted to leave the place again. Thank you for all!

Amazing mountaintop villa. Very pretty surroundings. Ac at night was a blessing. Will be coming back. Only thing I would be careful of is very steep driveway to get up. Just have to be careful and make sure have a good vehicle

Equilibrio was all that I hoped for and more. The owners, James and Gabriela have put much thought into the experience, anticipating what might delight their guests. There was plenty of space to relax, create, read, meditate, play, and enjoy the jungle, river, and beach. The casitas are fenced off from each other to create large, private jungle "yards." The 15 acre retreat is near town, but secluded, and each large casita has its own sizable part of the whole. I loved our "Guitar" casita which brings the best parts of the outside in -- the jungle view, the bird sounds, the breezes, and leaves out the bugs and rain. Heaven. The mosquito netting walls simply disappear. Our casita had plenty of bottled water, a refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee and tea, a closet room, and a large bathroom with a door that leads to a spacious, private, luxurious, solar-heated outdoor shower. We also had a private palapa with hammocks and rocking chairs. Outside our fence, down the trail was a larger shared space with more hammocks and rockers that was also the main gathering place/dining room/performance space. The staff is nearly invisible, but always there when you need them, smiling and helpful, serving food and drinks. The food was outstanding, featuring local vegetables, fruit smoothies and juices. The resort is not directly on the beach, but a short, bird-watching boat ride from the beach. Canoes and kayaks are available for exploration of the river estuary and trips to the beach. Daily yoga was included in our package and was not to be missed. Three days of the week we were at the studio on Popoyo beach where we could listen to the waves and gaze at the horizon. The beach is huge, beautiful, and empty. The lovely yoga studio at Equilibrio was a large palapa with a wood floor and mosquito netting all around that can be unfurled, if needed. Our teacher, Brook was wonderful, tailoring classes to our needs. We loved her classes and also managed to squeeze in some private sessions. Equilibrio is a treat, far away from the touristy parts, with nature all around and thoughtful service. Many thanks to James, Gabriela, and Brook for creating such a serene retreat experience and for the fantastic yoga. I hope to return soon.

The setting was beautiful. Quiet at night with incredible stars as no light pollution. Make no mistake you’re in the jungle sharing space with the primary residents….birds, cane toads, and so many butterflies. Not luxurious but absolutely comfortable. Walking distance to great local restaurants and motorcycle rental. We had an awesome stay and highly recommend this rental.

I've liked nearly all of the Airbnb places I've stayed at, but Michael's is very special in being not only just a place to stay – which is usually what you're looking for – but also a life experience. In the first place it's a farm all right, but nothing like what you ordinarily imagine a farm to be. Also, the mango trees constituting the farm are in a second field out to the back, so what the guest experiences is actually not the farm but – aside from the guest house, which is very attractively and comfortably fixed up – the roadside foodie operation manned by a substantial extended-family collective of Nicaraguans living on the property, with a charmingly personable Ukrainian student named Anton serving as the main chef, turning out exceptionally fresh plates of a regional Nicaraguan dish called a güirila, which you really should stop by and try even if you don't stay there. Michael himself is a fascinating person you'd want to know in any event, but rather than going into his personality I'll stick with the place and highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area. I'd say backpackers should stop over on their way to the lagoon (which they can reach from Michael's via bus or taxi), while people with cars might consider staying there for their whole time at Apoyo, unless they really want to overnight down on the water, or can't get by with the personal hotspot on their phone for Internet access.

Great comfortable place, attention from the host and staff was also great. Amazing place to disconnect and recharge.

Stacey's place is absolutely perfect. It's right on the beach and steps to local restaurants. The sunset is unbelievable. Having yoga and massages right downstairs is also great. The furnishings are adorable. Bedrooms have AC. Nice sized bathrooms with great water pressure AND warm water. There are hammocks both inside and out. Stacey is great with recommendations and even had fresh fruit delivered for us! This is a definite stay for Gigantes

This location on the North-West coast of Nicaragua is really wonderful. Beautiful landscape, the nicest people & the Airbnb apartment on the compound is very stylish, with lots of local quality material, plus great terrace. Our stay with Fran & her 3 marvelous young sons (all play chess!) was heartwarming and her culinary expertise & charm is right how it should be on a farm-to-table location like this. If you're lucky you'll get spoiled with one of the smashing (very healthy!) dishes of this inspirational chef and cool Airbnb-host!

Die Hütte von Susanne ist sehr schön in ihrem liebevoll angelegten u gepflegten Garten gelegen. Wir fühlten uns sofort na Ankunft in das Familienleben integriert und haben uns die 3 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt. Susanne, ihr Mann und ihr 4 jähriger Sohn sind sehr liebevoll und wir haben viele interessante Sachen über das Land u die Natur erfahren. Die Verpflegung war ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft die Susanne zubereitet hat. Kurzum ist waren sehr angenehme Tage.

Jesús quien fue el encargado de recibirnos fue muy atento y servicial, el lugar fue perfecto en todos los sentidos, ubicación, precio, muy limpio y ordenado. Es un lugar que recomendaría ya que es un balance entre tranquilidad pero a su vez no está muy lejos de todos los atractivos de la zona.

Very nice old farmhouse with plenty of large shade trees, a resident friendly dog and cat or two with chickens foraging the yard. Just a great place to chill out and enjoy the moment. Very close to the beach and horse back riding. The caretaker/manager Jesus is available and helpful when needed, brought us eggs off the farm most mornings. Hope to enjoy it all again sometime

wunderschönes, idyllisches Plätzchen. Wie ein kleines privates Paradies! Wer gerne Ruhe möchte, und Zeit für sich, dann ist dies ideal! Gut und währschaftes Häuschen und alles ist gut umgesetzt und sauber. Einzig der Backofen funktionierte bei uns nicht richtig. Die Ruhe, der Pool, die Veranda und die Hängematte: wir haben alles sehr genossen und gingen nicht gerne weiter! Danke auch an Maria, sie hat uns vor Ort lieb empfangen und sie war gut erreichbar.

El lugar es acogedor tiene una arquitectura hermosa que te hace sentir cómoda segura y confortable . Es una casa estudio. para leer un buen libro en su sala de estar. para tomar fotografías a flora y fauna del lugar. tiene una interesante piscina orgánica que no deberán perderse. que disfruten

We had a really lovely stay here for 4 nights! It’s a very peaceful and serene place, the pool is lovely, having the kitchen is excellent and its very clean and well equipped. The staff were always friendly. We also loved having the pool table and darts board! Also close to the supermarket :)

Staying at Apothefinca was a dream come true for our family. The guest house was an absolute gem, with so many little details that made our stay extra special. Lucy was very thoughtful and generous with her time, giving us a tour of the gardens and connecting us with local community to buy farm fresh eggs, sourdough bread, and more. My 5-year old daughter loved her dogs and chickens, and even got to hold some of the newly hatched chicks! I highly, highly recommend Lucy’s magical guest house to anyone who wants a nourishing and inspiring experience in Nicaragua.
