Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

This is a luxury vacationhome with all the amneties for a modern day vacation has two big bedroom and two wonderful bathrooms. The living room features a woodstove. There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

In this cozy, large, unique caravan, the nature lover will feel very much at home. A private garden, surrounded by quiet meadows, forest and heath. The wood stove is very comfortable on cold days, you must be able to burn! The caravan is 70 years old, still has many authentic elements. Please know that the caravan is not insulated, very warm in hot days, but then you are outside, with a lot of shade. It also cools down quickly. In bedroom there are screens and mosquito nets.

The yard is adjacent to the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can enjoy shopping and in the evening have a choice of several restaurants. The city of Groningen is by car 15 min away/bike 1 hour and by public transport 20 min.

We had a very pleasant stay, in a neat accommodation and beautiful surroundings. A place where you can "de-stress" completely. Chantal and Simon are very friendly hostess/gentleman who clearly went out of their way to make the guests happy. We have been able to explore the area several times and also enjoyed restaurants in the immediate area. As far as we are concerned, recommended and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back again. And oh yes, the wine, a personal product of Chantal and Simon, tastes fine according to my wife (I am not a connoisseur😉).

We had a wonderful week in the holiday home of Aaltje. A very tastefully decorated space with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The basic amenities are present, as well as bedding and towels. There is a lovely garden, which is fenced, which was nice for our dogs. And Aaltje's handsome dog occasionally came to visit us. The house is located in a dead-end street adjacent to a beautiful nature reserve. You can walk into the forest/the Bakkeveen dunes, where you immediately enter a free-range area. The village with supermarket and restaurants/terraces is within walking distance. The Slotplaats with adjacent forest is also recommended.

Nice and cozy house with a farm-like atmosphere. We definitely felt at home. It has a very nice large garden. The neighbors' horses were running around on the lawn opposite the garden. So we had a good view of the beautiful horses. The house has stylish furniture and the smoke is nice throughout the stay. The coffee was delicious! Everything was clean. The beds were nice. The house is close to an industrial estate, so trucks drive past early in the morning, but with the window closed, we had little trouble! The recycling around the corner is nice and Leek is also a very cozy village further on. It is close to Groningen. This cottage is definitely recommended!
