Beachfront holiday rental in North Ayrshire Council

Lovely peaceful location. Amazing views and we watched the ships on the Clyde in the evenings. We swam right outside the flat in the bay and the water was clear. Lovely walk from the cottage to the lighthouse that would be great for a dog walk.

An all time favorite!! 1 Block to Beach, town center , shops. Our favorite place, The Harbour Bar, has great food along with the best Sticky Toffee Pudding. Train station a fifteen minute walk Golf is all around We liked it so much, we booked a longer stay

The cosy flat is everything you could have expected, and has an ideal location with a stunningly breathtaking seafront view. Parking right outside the front door with no issues. The welcome book Sheena has includes all the local information (from instructions on how to use the sofa bed and thermostat, restaurants, to fun facts about the island. Clearly, Sheena has went out of her way and thought of everything that her guests would benefit from knowing during their stay. Thanks again.

Great well equipped house, amazing views, walking distance to the pub, loads of hot water, comfy beds and sofas, everything worked. Dog friendly. No off road parking but there was always plenty of space on the road in front of the house

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Views from windows and balcony are stunning, ever changing skies and sea, with gannets, oystercatchers, ringed plovers, herons. Spotted an otter on the beach late one evening, lots of wildlife to be seen on Arran. We also saw golden eagles, red squirrels, seals, deer. Simply Thai restaurant next door was excellent, eat in and takeaway. Everyone in village was very friendly and helpful. Beverley and Patrick were ideal hosts, responding immediately when we had a problem (of our own making!). Hope to return.

From Jayne’s friendly manner and communication I just knew this would be a great place. Beautiful , stylish flat and the comfiest sofa bed I’ve ever slept on ( felt just like a real bed) . Great spot too in a cute place. I’ll definitely stay again. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Amazing place to stay on Arran. We could not recommend more highly. The location is perfect with the beach only a minutes walk, and some other nice local walks on your doorstep. Well located for pretty much everything else. The house itself is stunning: really felt like home instantly. It has been renovated to a very high standard and is very well equipped. Andrew was a great host: always responsive to queries.

Thanks Finlay for letting me stay in your amazing apartment. Quite the most stylish AirBnB I have stayed in. Thanks for the walks suggestions. I am glad I made it up Castle Hill for the stunning views. A return visit to Great Cumbrae was as good as last year. The views across to Arran are so memorable.

Michele was a great host and we had a really nice few days staying in her flat. It's a lovely location close to the beach and the shops and also easy to travel to other sites.

Excellent host and extremely nice apartment

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

We had an amazing long weekend in Kildonan. The apartment is even better than the photo's, was very clean and had everything you needed. The shower was especially good, wonderful pressure and lots of hot water. We had dinner in the bistro below the apartment and the food was delicious. There are also lovely restaurants in Whiting Bay and Brodrick. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend staying here.

There is everything in the apartment that anyone would need for their stay Right in the centre of Millport with fantastic views over the water I could have sat at the window all day watching the view and people watching everyone going by Ate at Fraser’s , Luca’s and the cafe at fintry bay all very nice and good pricing.

Andrew's place is superb. He met us with a warm welcome and then we were shown our room which has the most incredible view out across the garden and the sea to the Holy Isle. Everything you need is provided for --extremely comfortable bed, very well supplied kitchen and a sparkling bathroom. For me one of the priorities in choosing an air b n b is that it should be accessible for me as a disabled person. Andrew's place fits the bill as i was able to easily access the 2 steps at the front of the bungalow on my sticks and then, again easily, transfer to using wheels around the property. Thanks again Andrew!

The clear instructions for arrival were spot on. It had everything it said it would have and it was beautifully clean, tidy and ready for us to have a perfect start to our Arran holiday.. The fantastic location enabled us to explore this beautiful island. The bench just in front of the property is a wonderful place to watch the gentle simplicity of life in this great part of Arran. A lovely Airbnb -would very happily recommend staying here.. Easy access to the main centre of Lamlash with a gentle walk.. perfect .

We had a great stay at Greig’s house the weather was fantastic so made use of all the outdoor facilities hot tub,sauna etc , felt as if we were abroad . Greig was very friendly and anything we needed he helped without hesitation, talked us through everything and asking if we were ok 👍🏻 thank you so much for everything 👏👏

We found Bentfield to be a large spacious dwelling full of character and history in a magnificent location. It has a large variety of facilities within the grounds to keep all the family entertained. Further amenities such as restaurants, shops and supermarkets are also within walking distance. Our family had a fabulous time and we would not hesitate recommending Bentfield to anyone.
