Waterfront holiday rentals in North Captiva Island

My very first Airbnb and I'm sure it will set the standard for any future ones that I use. Super convenient location, plenty of parking, right on the canal so you see the dolphins and the manatees at any given point. I met Lori in person and she helped me with everything that I needed and was super kind. I spent a week kayaking the island and there are so many places to go that you don't have to leave the island once you get there.

Sylvia’s home was beautiful, very clean and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed!

The place is in a perfect location the lanai is one of the coolest spots I’ve ever seen. We stayed in the lanai and were in the pool a ton! The communication with the host was some of the best I’ve experienced. The amenities offered were 2nd to none beach towels beach cart, umbrella, coolers everything you need for your beach excursion. It was a great space for me and my wife.

Very clean and well equipped condo on the 10th floor overlooking the gulf and bay.l From our lanai we watched dolphins, ospreys and one morning a bald eagle diving for fish. Scott was a great host and responded to any questions we had within minutes. The property has a nice private beach, pool and 4 weber gas grills. Flippers restaurant is only steps away. The only issue is that the new bridge onto Ft.Myers Beach is under construction so at times there is construction noise and access to the beach south of the bridge is blocked. This was not a big issue for us and overall we had a very enjoyable week.

Anne and Shane have created something truly amazing! I haven’t slept that good in years! My husband and I actually meant to see what mattress they used because it was COMFY. I even went so far as to try and amazing the linens because they were just that good. It was the perfect amount I space for us and our long weekend. We spent our weekend at sanibel and even managed to bring home a massive conch shell. We’ve decided that if Anne and Shane will have us, we want to come back year after year. Everything was perfect- the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook, the bathroom was absolutely stunning with a roomy shower, and they even provided all sorts of extras for any activity you may what to do(bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs and an umbrella which we room full advantage of). 10/10 experience! If you’re on the fence, don’t be! Best decision ever!

We enjoyed our stay in St. James city. The peaceful surroundings were just what we hoped. Deanna sent us a list of live music in the area so when were done biking or hiking we had a selection of relaxed places to eat and listen to music. After hiking Randall Research Center or our boat ride to Cayo Costa state park, we bought some fresh fish, grilled it back at the place, then ate it next to the canal - very "Florida" in our minds. Deanna was always friendly and helpful, we felt so welcome.

Thank you for being such a wonderful host, I will definitely book again being I be out here a lot! I felt so peaceful and at home! Thank you again!

Very happy we took a chance on this home. We had such a wonderful time. The owner has every amenity well thought out. I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb that had this many supplies which is nice when you fly and can’t bring as much as normal. We ate lots of good seafood. My grandsons spent hours fishing on the dock.

This was our favorite Airbnb yet. The house and grounds were beautiful. There was something for everyone from 2 years old to 72. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Romy was proactive and checked on us but the setup was so well executed we wanted for nothing. We saw iguanas, owls, and bunnies. Sunsets were beautiful. The pool area had space for all. We will be back!

I had a wonderful time at Michelle's house. The place is beautiful and very clean, but we definitely fell in love with the pool area. Its beautiful design, along with the tiki bar, will make you spend hours without getting bored. You'll also find plenty of utensils to prepare your meals. If there's something I should point out, it's that they don't allow you to use the grill and the sink in the tiki bar, which I found a bit disappointing. I also want to point out that the house has 5 bedrooms, but only two are actually equipped for adults. The other two are children's rooms, and the third is a living room. In two of the bedrooms, my family had to sleep on inflatable mattresses. As a recommendation, it would be nice if all the rooms were equipped with conventional beds. Also, on the last day of our stay, a neighbor came over with a bad attitude to ask me to turn down the music; it was 6:00 PM and not even the music was that loud. Other than that, my overall rating is wonderful. Thanks.

From the moment we walked in the front door, we knew our holiday was going to be incredible. We had a very late flight and Cara unlocked the door for us on arrival to make entry smooth as silk. Waiting for us was a welcome card and as we walked room to room, we were in awe. The pictures do not do this home justice and not a single detail was overlooked. It is impossible to not feel at home and we are so thankful we made the choice to stay at Cara’s resort. Cara was extremely responsive and proud of the local community. We dined at several of her recommended spots and not disappointed at any of them. The outdoor kitchen made it difficult to leave however, we wanted to experience the local life. Thank you Cara for being an attentive and caring host. We hope this will be a place we visit with our family many times in the future. 🩷

I’m so glad that several other properties failed to respond to a boat question we had, which led me to finding Villa Agua Vista. Tonya responded to all my questions quickly or would always get back to me when she didn’t have an immediate answer. From start to finish Tonya was super easy to work with. Always helpful and very quick to respond. Definitely delightful and personable - a super host for sure! The property and its amenities were amazing. We used the kayaks a couple times and some of the fishing gear came in handy. The spa and pool were rarely lonely. We decided to replace our usual spring break on the sand with some place to moor a boat and it was great. The house was top notch, all the basic simple things were waiting for us. If you want to find something to complain about, I seriously doubt you can or would. The photos don’t do the home justice but they also don’t lie. So don’t over think it and just book with Tonya.

I was very surprised with how beautiful the house and property were. The host was very quick to respond when we arrived at the house and had a few questions. She answered immediately and we were good to go from there on out. The home was loved by my whole family and we all agreed when we come back to the area we will hopefully be able to stay at this home again.

We have stayed at the Estero Beach and Tennis before and this unit is the best yet!! I am super picky on cleanliness and it was very clean! The unit had some high end touches along with furniture and decor being very tasteful. The bed was really comfortable, shower nice, outdoor chairs perfect and the towels were amazing. It’s all those little touches that made our stay pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing. We plan on booking again in the future. ☀️

We had an amazing stay at this condo for our honeymoon. It was the perfect place to relax together and just enjoy the beach! The condo was extremely nice and it was great to have an umbrella and chairs available to use! Elizabeth was very helpful and had so much information for us and recommendations which was so helpful as first time visitors! The area was beautiful and the pool was also very nice! We cannot wait to come back to Sanibel/Captiva!

It was a great quiet getaway for my friends and I. It is a little bit of a quiet town, but that was perfect for us! If you are looking for a simple, peaceful beach getaway then this is the place for you.

Caihlin was a fantastic host. Very responsive to our questions/concerns. The place was just as beautiful as the pictures showed and we enjoyed everything about it. There were plenty of beach items to use, so we didn't need to purchase anything to enjoy the beach. There were plenty of games to play, books to read and even a drawer full of extra batteries for the TV remote if needed. We even had access to their 2 bikes and took an enjoyable morning bike ride into Fort Myers beach. You will not be disappointed at all with your stay.

One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at! Impeccably clean, nice decor and a great location. Just steps away from a beautiful beach and relaxing pool. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Captiva, and we hope to be back one day soon!

This place was absolutely amazing! All the kitchen accessories, bedroom amenities, and beach stuff provided was top notch. The location right on the beach provided a cool breeze even on the hot days. Sunset views and so many shells. Gulf and pool water were the perfect temperature. We used the bikes and there were plenty to choose from. Gorgeous spot all around!

The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth. The location was peaceful, perfect for relaxing. We especially enjoyed being right on the water for the beautiful sunsets.

Condo was very nice, clean, and updated. It had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! We were a little bummed that the balcony didn’t face the water, it faces the parking lot but we still were able to see from the side. The beach was great, private and we saw a lot of manatees and dolphins very close up. The bridge that is being built was interesting to watch and once completed, the views will be even better! Definitely a cute little place to stay! Owners were great and very responsive! Overall, it was a very fun 2 weeks!!
