Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Historic District, Savannah

I loved my stay at the Victoria House in Savannah. Victoria is a wonderful host!!! She's friendly, engaging, and helpful. The house is spotless - super clean and organized. It was a great week - wonderful to have a washer and dryer at the property, the kitchen was great, so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The bed was super comfortable. The only small drawback is that it is on a busy street, especially during commuting times in the AM and PM. So, as long as you are okay with that, then this is the PERFECT place to stay in Savannah.

Great, spacious place! Kids didn't have to fight for the top bunk! Wonderful location to downtown Savannah, easily walkable.

The place was beautiful. Also Sara gave us great restaurant recommendations. It was quiet and private. Perfect for my birthday getaway 🥂

We and our 2 small dogs really enjoyed the courtyard - we loved having our dinners and breakfasts there. It’s a great feature because the dogs could be off leash and just enjoy their time beside us. The place perfectly captures the spirit of historic Savannah but with modern amenities. The water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom sink upstairs are a bit on the low side but that’s expected from a historic home. Kroger grocery store is just a couple of blocks away and had everything we needed to cook, stay in and watch a movie. Thank you for your hospitality, Joyce and Miss Eva, the housekeeper!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully designed retreat! The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and felt even more spacious and serene than the photos suggest. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding to the well-equipped kitchen—was clearly chosen with care. The setting is private and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. We especially loved spending time on the patio in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the host was seamless, and check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a stylish, quiet escape with modern comforts. We would absolutely stay here again!

In a word - amazing! I probably sound like i know the owner and this is a staged review. But it is not! We were a gang of 5-60 year olds celebrating a friend’s engagement after finding love again. The place is exactly as it looks. The furniture is very upscale and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the fridge was perfect. They even had enough coffee for the entire stay and several breakfast bars to get you through the first morning. The beds were perfect. Bathrooms had enough linens and had soap, shower and conditioner in nice containers so we felt pampered. I cannot say enough about the location. Had a great neighborhood feel and yet walking distance to everything! So you get that charming vibe of the Savanah neighborhood scene but close to the fun if you choose. The empanada restaurant is to die for. We could walk to the river and enjoy the crazy but escape to peace by the end of the night. Mary was amazing! We treated us like we were family!!!!!!!!!

Carlos & Marci were such great hosts! The place was super clean, comfortable, and just right for our trip. One of the highlights for us was the Savannah puzzle—we did it on the first day, and my girls were so excited to spot the landmarks around town afterward. It made exploring even more fun! Everything was easy from check-in to communication. The location was great too. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re in Savannah!

The “Wedding Cake Carriage House” was excellent! The location is perfect for walking and exploring Savannah’s historic districts. We found great coffee within a few blocks and excellent restaurants. Having the garage to park our car and a washer/dryer were a real bonus! Suzanne was brilliant — provided precise checkin instructions and all information needed.

This Airbnb was perfect for our trip! The actual space was really nice and comfortable. The location was great and within an easy walking distance to river street and other Savannah attractions.

The unit is in a great location with many parks and restaurants walkable. All the furniture was comfortable and clean. They provided plenty of towels as well as washing machine should you need. id recommend Christie's place any day.

We loved staying in the Yellow Room! It was a quick Uber or Lyft into Savannah’s historic district, about 8-10 minutes and usually around 8 - 10 bucks. We would take one in the morning and one in the evening. Everything was perfect, and it was great to have a full stove and oven so we could cook in the room. Great host, will definitely stay again the next time that we’re in Savannah!

We loved Shannon's place. It had everything we needed for our stay in Savannah, and the large studio has a lovely feel to it. Shannon was very responsive and flexible to our requests. We definitely recommend staying here, and hope we can visit again in the future.

Jeremy’s place in Savannah was comfortable, clean and homey. It was in a wonderful location that was close to most of our favorites but on a quieter street. Appreciated the touch of having the fans available and some welcoming snacks. All in all—a great stay! Thank you Jeremy!

We had a great stay near Forsyth Park. Beautiful street to stay on and we felt very safe. Instructions were very clear. The bedrooms were huge and the apartment was decorated so nicely. I would recommend this for a stay in Savannah!

This place was exactly as described and in an amazing location! It was so convenient to explore the different districts and feel like a local! Brendan was incredibly responsive and had an incredible list of recommendations while we were there!

We stayed here for our son’s graduation and cannot believe we didn’t find this place until he was leaving Savannah! This is a fantastic location. In the midst of everything but due to the unique location it is also very quiet. Amazing views of the bridge. Walkable to absolutely everything you can think of. For graduation it was a breeze to walk down to the ferry to the Convention Center. Loved it! Communication A+!

Amanda’s place was exactly as she has listed. Excellent location walking distance to everything downtown. This was our first time to Savanah and we will be back soon, so much to do ! Highly recommend staying at Amanda’s. She was a very good host and also had great dinner recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

This studio apartment is incredibly well located in downtown Savannah, walking distance to the waterfront and many bars, restaurants, shops, and beautiful squares. It's beautifully decorated, was very clean, and well equipped. I was there mid-week so didn't have issues with noise outside, although you do hear squeeky floorboards, this didn't bother me however. Check in was easy and the hosts were responsive and helpful. One issue I had (which I think is a general problem when staying downtown) was parking, as the city parking lots had system issues and were closed when I arrived. I think most guests will be able to access the parking lot easily though, and it's only a couple of blocks away. Overall I had a great stay, I would recommend to others and would come back in future.

We enjoyed our stay in Savannah. The location is an easy walk to Forsyth Park. Easy, short drive to historic district or areas near River street. Beds are very comfortable. Loved that there is a washer and dryer. Great kitchen!

This place was ideal for us. Pet friendly and super clean. The location is perfect for walking to sights and good restaurants. Kitchen is well appointed if you want to cook (we didn't). Neighborhood is quiet and we felt completely safe. A comfortable and enjoyable stay.
