Alaska Aurora Northstar Cabin

Enjoy all that Alaska has to offer. Very private log home in country setting. One of the best places in the world to enjoy the a northern lights. It has one large loft bedroom with steep stairs. 1 queen bed and 2 single beds plus a small room off of the main room separated by privacy wall and curtain with 2 beds, for a total of 5 beds. Lots of wildlife in the local area. Full bathroom, Kitchen, washer& dryer. 11 miles from North pole 25 miles from Fairbanks, 5 miles from Eielson AFB Front Gate.

This beautiful two bedroom, one bath log home is a perfect retreat. The cabin is located only a few miles from both Fairbanks and North Pole, while still providing a secluded hideaway. We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as place for our parents to stay in the summer. In the winter, it's yours! It's an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler. At night, watch the Aurora from bed or the large north-facing windows. The large couch is a comfortable place to watch the low winter sun traverse the mountains to the south during the day.
