We had a wonderful stay with two great hosts. The apartment looked beautifully cared for with everything on it. Upon arrival, two pieces of cake and homemade rhubarb were waiting for us. On Saturday morning, a basket of fresh bread rolls was left at the door. Markus and Thomas are two lovely hospitable men with an eye for detail! We enjoyed it.

As a couple, we were looking for a little break and found it in Waltraud's oasis. The apartment was spacious, cozy and very clean. We didn't miss anything. The garden is beautiful and offers something to discover at every corner. Pure relaxation!!! The contact with Waltraud was friendly and uncomplicated. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We spent an extended weekend in the apartment and always started from there to Cologne, which takes about 30 minutes. Everything is as described and very clean. We felt comfortable immediately and were able to enjoy the time, thank you for this.

Our short break with Rainer and his family was very pleasant! We felt welcome. The yard is lovingly maintained, we were able to move freely on the entire area. The apartment is really big and well equipped, even for our little daughter (11M) everything was there. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Very satisfied with the property. Everything was clean and correct. The only comments are the lack of the fire bowl that was in the photos. This was an important point for us. Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. Very nice, top furnished chalet with attention to the details. We enjoyed the days here very much, great location overlooking the Sauerland. High-quality modern but still cozy furnishings, the sauna overlooking the mountains is the highlight. We will be happy to come back :)

We spent an extended weekend in this great house for 8 and were completely thrilled, especially by the diverse and large lounges and the park-like outdoor area. The equipment is more than extensive and we missed nothing. The house with its ambience and tasteful furnishings is truly unique. Anne gave a tour of the house, as well as tips on shopping and dining options in the area. She was also always available for questions. We definitely want to come back.

We were at the Rock am Ring festival over the Pentecost weekend and found a great place to stay at Myriam's. The old apartment has a lot of charm due to the high ceilings and the old wooden floor. The decor is stylish and we felt right at home. The only problem we had was that the shower curtain was unfortunately too short, so that water always ran out when showering. The second time, we tried to fix the process in a good position with hair clips. It was always a bit cumbersome, but it wasn't that bad. In addition, the towels were very thin, which was not so comfortable when drying. Apart from that, the accommodation was perfect and the communication with Myriam was impeccable! She was very friendly and helpful. We had a good time and were able to relax in a comfortable bed and return to the festival the next day rested. Will come again any time!

We stayed at Merle's cottage for 2 nights due to a wedding we had there. The cottage is very nicely located right in the center but still quiet. It is very cozy, tasteful and very clean. Sufficient parking space in the neighbourhood.
