The cabin is 8 miles from the town of Chadron and Chadron State College events, 45 minutes from Hot Springs, SD., 1.5 hours from Rapid City, and the Black Hills of South Dakota. Visit Mt. Your new Home Away from Home! Enjoy this 3 bed, 2 bath home by lake! Featuring a gorgeous patio with lake view. It's a mile to the Pirates Bar & Convenience Store, and Roughly 1.3 miles to drop in your favorite boat and/or jet skis. Short drive to Breakers Beach and Inferno Restaurant & Bar; which are steps from the water. Steel barrel fire pit for all to use for fire pit and don't forget to gaze at the amazing stars at night! No wi-fi so truly a getaway from the normal hustle and bustle. :)

Nice one level ranch house. 3 decent sized bedrooms along with two bathrooms. The living room has a nice reclining sectional sofa for relaxing or watching some television. The dining room has a large table to seat at 8 comfortably. An overflow room off the kitchen can serve as a place for more guests with an air mattress. Outside offers a fenced back yard and patio with table and chairs. An attached garage can be arranged if necessary. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood.

This Carriage House is in the heart of downtown Hot Springs & across the street from Moccasin Hot Springs Spa. Our yellow victorian home sits high on a hill which creates a feeling of privacy. The home was built in 1889 before the road, electricity or plumbing. The Carriage House, where guests stay, was used by Charles Hargans Jr , a Saturday Post artist. We made it the cozy place it is today. We offer a clean & comfortable stay in our historic sandstone town!

Megan and Luke have a great place! The mudroom entrance is shared, but that's not a problem. The apartment is clean, well-furnished, and on a very quiet street. The host was very friendly. We will definitely be back next time we're in Chadron!

From when we booked till the first day, Tim was always responsive with questions, he even went out of his way to get a high chair for our toddler and had a pack n play available as well. He provided alot of the essentials that included dishware, soap for showering and even to wash clothes. He provided firewood and everything needed for the firepit as well. Once we unpacked for the week, it felt like we were at home. Peaceful area and the home is beautiful inside and out. I would highly recommend his place to anyone looking for a place in South Dakota.

The Angostura Cabin was just what we needed for our week-long getaway! It is truly private - 10 miles off the highway on dirt roads with only two other houses within a mile of the cabin. A HUGE selling point for us was the seclusion from everyone else and the effortless 10 min walk to the lake. No trees around, so when the wind blows, it's cold. The cabin itself was very clean, very comfortable, and very appropriate for the location. Even though there were only 2 of us staying, we will be back with more people later because the cabin can sleep up to 8 people (2 people in each two queen beds and 2 people in each two double beds), or 4 people very comfortably. If you're looking for an amazing getaway (literally!), don't hesitate to book this stay. Effortless check-in, check-out, and quick communication with Hillary. Get this place; you won't regret it!

We had a wonderful stay. The area around the home is beautiful and peaceful. The space was great and the kids loved the loft and all beds were comfy. We enjoyed playing Uno in the evenings and felt right at home. The house is very clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!!

We had an excellent stay for 2 nights. It was roomy, clean, tastefully decorated and had many thoughtful touches, including snacks, a great coffee selection, full-size fridge, and even the ‘fixins’ for breakfast. Mike was friendly and helpful, and it was very close to everything we wanted to do. Compared to other towns in the area, we were really happy to stay in Hot Springs— it obviously caters to tourists, but didn’t feel overrun at all. Would definitely rebook if we’re in the area again!
