You will spend your vacation in our apartment on the 7th floor renovated in 2021 (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic spa town of Bad Grund. The apartment has a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bedding. On the balcony you sit between herbs ( to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak wood furniture.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction!

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Beautiful, bright apartment on a farm - quiet location

The property is quietly located directly on the field and forest, about 4 km from the highway. The next supermarket including bakery is approx. 700m away. A gas station, charging facilities for electric cars and a restaurant are also within walking distance. You can park in the back yard, where there is also a seating area in summer.
