Amazing stay at Sea Roots Garden Zone 1. It was the perfect way to end our trip. The place felt larger in-person and had everything you could need. The laundry machine was easy to use, we did one load as soon as we arrived and air dried on the drying rack provided. Everything was clean and organized and easy to locate. The best part was the animal zone where we regularly spent time with the chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbit. Truly a gem of a place in an incredible location. The hosts were attentive, responsive, and made us feel like home. Thank you so much! Make sure you watch the sunsets in Mosteiros!!!!

Chris’s chalet is wonderful, everything about it is just so lovely, the garden, the birds, the decor, the very comfy beds, the amazing view from the wall to wall windows overlooking the beach with the sea beyond. Chris was a great host, communication was helpful and easy to understand. The lovely little town of Whitstable is only a 10 minute drive, wish we’d booked for longer. We are planning to return .

We had the most wonderful stay with our toddler. The apartment was perfect. The location is ideal just steps away from the beach and the pool was a great size - also with very quick access to the beach. It was lovely walking to the restaurants for dinner and taking the land train around Cala d’Or to explore new beaches and the marina. The apartment itself is very spacious with a large balcony overlooking the beach- it was spotlessly clean and Carlos was amazing at collecting us to and from the airport and ensuring we had everything we needed. He was very friendly and reliable :) We would definitely recommend staying here!

We just returned home from a weeks stay at Carols Coastguard Cottage and we are already planning on when to go back. While I’m sure the beautiful weather we had for our stay was just a blessing, the cottage was the perfect place to decompress for a week. The peace that came from sitting outside under the canopy, listening to waves while watching and making friends with the shore oath walkers (and their wonderful dogs) was exactly what we needed. But if you don’t feel like interacting, it’s very easy to just keep the gate closed and sit in a perfect solitude oasis. The walk to the village was very easy and we were delighted with the many options for meals, our favorites being Sozo and 6-3-1 and of course The Sipster, which we spent a wonderful night getting to know a group of locals who all knew of Carol and how amazing she is. I could go on forever about how great this place is but I only have 90 characters left so I’ll just say book now, you won’t regret it at all.

Our family had an amazing week here! We travelled with my parents and young child as well as a dog. The view over the loch is sensational and the Airbnb has everything we needed. John is a very kind and responsive host - couldn’t do enough for us. It’s remote and private with a pub nearby and another pizza restaurant open Thursday to Sunday nights. We were also very lucky with the weather which meant the most sensational views. Good base for exploring too as we were able to go to Inverary, Carrick Castle, Arkinglas House, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and rent a boat on loch goil.

This is one of those rare places that is actually better in real life compared to the photos! The views over the bay are spectacular and we were very comfortable in this stylish, impeccably clean property. It had everything we needed for a great long weekend. Big plus also that the beach directly outside the property is dog friendly. Thanks again!

I would rate the Chicken Shed as outstanding! The location, presentation of the property, information provided by the owners before the stay and within a guide provided were all fabulous. It felt like a real 5*stay. We were aware it was up a steep track and we enjoy walking so it was no issues. We also had no problems getting a taxi to and from Clitheroe. On the first night we walked to the Calfs Head in Worston via lanes and footpaths. It took about 45 minutes. It was a traditional pub menu and the food was great with really good service. We walked up Pendle hill and went up via the steep hill behind chicken shed. It was the shortest way up but it is very very steep. The views at the top were worth the effort. There are easier ways up though! It's just a beautiful, beautiful place to visit with everything very thoughtfully considered. I do hope we can go back at some point.

Beautiful accommodation and location - extremely private/secluded. Extremely well appointed throughout the house - lots of accessories for a spa experience. Spa facilities are truly outstanding.

We greatly enjoyed the beautifully located holiday home in the woods near Uelsen. A 5 star rating is well worth it. Very fully furnished, clean, and equipped with every comfort. The view from the living room is phenomenal. And what silence. And if you are a bird lover, this is "the place to be". Unexpectedly in the front yard, we saw a female pheasant, and in May we heard and saw the colorful flycatcher, blackhead, pimples, cabbage mine, robin, buzzard, large colorful woodpecker, wood pigeons, and what else. Ideal is that you can make trips at a relatively short distance by car or bike to Twente or Germany in. There is a good supermarket for daily groceries/sandwiches in Uelsen as well as a gas station. There were two great bikes available. And what else can you say about the spacious, complete and well-functioning sauna? Nothing but praise! If you want to rest, enjoy the silence, the nature, and the beautiful location with privacy!

The stay was absolutely great with a fantastic garden! You can have a delicious breakfast delivered by a bakery. You can enjoy a wonderful walk around the accommodation! In a word, great! Our two dogs also had a wonderful time thanks to a completely fenced garden.

A small piece of heaven. We have already booked for next year and that will be our third stay.

Loved the down to earth, original decor - very refreshing and perfect for us. Everything you could possibly need and wish for from a beachside retreat. Thank you.

We loved the apartment and the location. Quiet and beautiful, yet fast at restaurants or nearby leisure activities such as cycling, running, swimming. We were able to use canoes directly from the house and that was completely hassle-free. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with great amenities such as a washing machine and dishwasher.

A fantastic cabin with fabulous views in a great location! I can’t fault it. Will definitely return.
