Hostel holiday rentals in Northern Europe

Nice stay for those willing to do Ruta del Cares. Nice clean room with its own bathroom. Very close to the start of the hike. But also nearby the restaurants/bars. Diego is very kind and gave us a lot of tips.

Alberto's place was lovely. We hiked up from Ruta del Cares and stayed for two nights. We enjoyed a long hike through the Picos de Europa on our full day and came back to a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. The location is ideal for accessing the mountains however the paths are very rough to the east side of the village up to Urriellu. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again :)

It was really the best hostel I ever stayed!!! It has very great relaxing vibe, you feel like at friend's house. The owners and the volonteers are very kind, careful and created the best friendly atmosphere for each guest! The dinners were always excellent, we gathered by one big table like one family. The owners are doing their best-hostel is very clean, they orginizing free yoga classes each Sunday and trip to the local market throught the mountains and it all ends with picnic on a river Cetina. Hostel situated in a really wonderful place with mountains and sea view. You could sit on the terrace and relax with that view on million! Also you could sleep on the roof and watch the sky with lot of stars. I recommend everyone to visit this magical place!!! I will back here for sure not one time!!!

It is a great place for those who want to see the 360-degree northern lights as it is a river with less light pollution than Inari.Moreover, there was a tent with a bonfire in front of the room, and it was great to be able to see the Northern Lights while warming up my body. The room, kitchen, and living room are very clean and comfortable.The kitchen has a comfortable self-catering environment. The nature is beautiful, and I will never get tired of seeing it.We enjoyed cross-country skiing, hiking and reindeer tours.There are other things to do as well. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious.I wanted to eat from corner to corner. You will hear birds in the woods.Moreover, there is a bird feeding place in front of the restaurant, so I was able to see more than 10 species of birds through the window.We also saw birds that can only be seen in the Arctic Circle in the area. Everyone of the staff and Anita was very nice and answered me nicely even when I asked a lot of questions I had.Thank you so much. The change of bath towels was not during the stay of 4 nights and 5 days, but this comes from the idea that towels that were neatly washed and washed in European culture are not so dirty.There is also an earth protection perspective.If you need bath towels, you should bring them from home. One disadvantage is that it is a bit of a difficult place to come by bus from Rovaniemi or ask for a shuttle bus from Ivaro airport or come by bus via Inari.There is also one bus a day.You can't go to Rovaniemi for a day trip by bus.There is no supermarket, so it is recommended to buy inari in advance for those who want to make sausage bread in the tent.Overall, it was a great experience.I definitely want to come back again.

Easily one of the nicest hostels I’ve been to. Michael was so nice as well, we couldn’t have been better off.

Brilliant accommodation at an affordable price that is worth it. David greeted us and also gave us great advice on how to use local public transport and enjoy the city as much as possible during our 3 night stay.

Perhaps the best place I've ever been. You do not need to carry any keys with you, because the handles have dials. Just remember the code you get on the paper and you will easily get to both the building and your room. The room itself, although small, suited me perfectly, it was modern and without any dirt. If you would like, they also offer much larger rooms on their website, each with its own unique style. Throughout the building, there are guides placed on the wall, which are different in color and will lead you to the destination, so you will not get lost at all. The kitchen and bathrooms are also very clean. The kitchen has everything, just like at home. There are two bathrooms; one with a toilet and shower and the other with the same, but separate, so don't worry about their occupancy. Throughout my stay, I had plenty of privacy even in shared spaces. The accommodation offers all-you-can-eat breakfast, which is definitely worth the price. I had a huge offer from light meals, through pastries, to great desserts! ❤️

I am very happy with my stay! I only stayed one night, but I liked both the service and the facilities. In addition, the location is unbeatable, you have everything at your fingertips and close to you

Mathilde’s home was amazing. I was lucky to have the large room to myself and I enjoyed the very comfortable bed. Looks just like the pictures and the view of the water is so beautiful. The house is so close to the GR34 and the beach. Mathilde is very friendly and gave me good advice for which direction to head on the GR34. I’d love to stay here again and recommend to everyone that comes to Telgruc-sur-mer.

My experience was bumpy but tremendously positive. I stayed right on the day of the general blackout in Spain, so I couldn't access the room until I restored the electricity supply (almost midnight), but at all times the Calma team was pending, trying to resolve the situation (which was a force majeure, of course), being understanding and helping me in everything that was in his hand. The place is great: tastefully decorated, simple, modern, new, well cared for... The location, although not central, is very practical. And very well connected to the tourist center of Madrid. I especially appreciate Javier's attention and highly recommend this place. I wish you many successes in everything.

Lovely place with easy bus connections around Gozo and only a 30min walk down to the harbour with a beautiful view along the way. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom with easy and flexible check in. The room was perfect for my brief stay in Gozo in a lovely property that would be the perfect location in warmer months with a pool and close to many walking tracks down to the beaches.

It was clean, well located for sightseeing, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lisbon!

Even though we only stayed one night, we really enjoyed our stay. The hostel is as beautiful as in the photos, well-equipped and very clean! The only downside: it's not very well soundproofed, so we could hear the other travelers chatting, walking or cooking.

Extraordinary affordability. These two brothers doing something good. Their place is in a fab location just right behind the buzzing main square in a peaceful corner. As Ibrahim and his brother Ahmed said - "You're at home away from home, brother." And believe me, you'll feel like that. It's basic hence its price, but you'll get everything that you'd need for a couple of nights in Chef. Not to mention the lovely roof terrace they have. Supersonically recommended.

It’s a great place to meet interesting people. The hostel rooms are very clean, comfy and secure lockers within the rooms to store your belongings. I I’d highly recommend staying here and I’ll be back again soon.

Bright and Welcoming Space The waiting room is very bright, with lots of natural light, creating a cheerful atmosphere. It’s located in front of a modern kitchen that’s open for everyone, making it a great spot for gatherings. The rooms and toilet are very clean, which added to the comfort of my stay. The management is excellent—Juan and his father are doing a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly. Highly recommend!

Beautiful facility that is well managed. Great quality beds with privacy curtains. Very, very clean. Great central location! The only thing lacking is that they don't fully utilize the Airbnb tools for guests like wifi to connect without entering credentials, missing checkout instructions (yet you are notified top look for checkout instructions, and the check-in instructions are missing with step-by- step photos. As a guest, I prefer to see photos of the street, building, front door, etc. in advance. The check in instructions say to "contact the host", which is more cumbersome than it needs to be if the tools at utilized. I prefer to just use the app rather than "contact the host" or sort through messages. I did map the location the day before, so check in we fine and easy. The staff is helpful. The facility was quiet. Good use of technology (aside from missing Airbnb tools). I'm guessing it is the best hostel in town. It's a good price and I plan to stay again!
