Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Northern Norway

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Hieno, siisti ja tilava talo. Viihdyimme täällä erittäin hyvin ja talosta löytyi kaikki tarvittava varustelu. Lähiluonto on kaunis ja talon terassilla oli mukava viettää iltaa.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Ihana vanha hyvällä maulla remontoitu pirtti rauhallisella paikalla. Kanat tepastelivat pihalla ja omistaja oli oikein mukava. Ilta-aurinko paisteli kauniisti sisälle ja aamulla kävimme saunassa. Todella siisti ja kaikki mukavuudet löytyivät. Täytyy tulla toistekin!

Le logement est très confortable, avec une belle vue sur le port de Torsken et les montagnes. Il est situé juste à côté d'une épicerie et un très bon restaurant se trouve à 500 mètres environ. Au départ du logement, nous avons fait la randonnée Midtertinden et à proximité, nous avons fait Sukkertoppen, Middagstind et Smatindan. Il y a aussi de nombreuses autres randonnées un peu plus loin.

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

We keken enorm uit naar ons verblijf in Noorwegen en de host was steeds bereikbaar. We kozen voor een verblijf in rust en natuur met sauna en hottub. Voor het gebruik hiervan moesten we bijbetalen wat niet zo heel duidelijk staat vermeld. Voor deze prijs misschien wel wat meer hout voorzien want hier kom je zeker niet mee toe en vermits de prijs toch al prijzig is mocht dit er wel onbeperkt inzitten vinden wij. Het huis was proper, ruim en prachtig zicht. Wel een gevaarlijke trap naar boven, vooral het gat naar onder als je boven staat. Kinderen die aan het spelen zijn hebben dit niet altijd in het oog, misschien een omheining voorzien voor de veiligheid! De openhaard is zeker een pluspunt want we houden van deze gezelligheid. We hebben 5 van de 6 nachten het noorderlicht kunnen bewonderen vanop het terras. De keukenuitrusting kan misschien nog iets uitgebreider. We misten een mixer om onze soep te mixen en een vergiet om de spaghetti af te schudden.

Mysig liten stuga med alla nödvändigheter. väldigt trevligt bemötande och smidig in och utcheckning. Rekommenderar starkt!

Wonderful stay at a quiet location close enough to walk down the street to restaurants. Hosts let me park the motorcycle in the garage, and had the door open and ready for me. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Nusfjord is a beautiful location. We used it as a base to do several hikes around the island. The house itself is easy to find. Anne Lise was quick to respond. Instructions were clear and check in and out easy. Kitchen stands out in completeness, also the bathroom and shower are a definite plus. Would most definitely recommend!!!

Sehr angenehme und herzliche Kommunikation. Wohnung liegt am Ende einer Wohnsiedlung schön im Grünen und man kann direkt von der Wohnung zur Wanderung aufbrechen. Hatten sogar das seltene Glück, Elche zu sehen, die bis in die Siedlung gekommen sind. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Und das Wohnzimmer ist so gemütlich, dass man auch mal einen richtigen "Schietwetter"-Tag daheim verbringen kann. Für viele Ausflüge von einer Unterkunft aus, finde ich sie allerdings doch etwas zu abgelegen.

Apartment was incredible and perfect for our family of 3. If you want to be away from city center, this is the place for you. Local transportation is within walking distance and very reliable even during a snowstorm. Knut was welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend Knut’s place enough.

Es un estudio que tiene de todo. Está decorado con muy buen gusto lo que hace que la estancia sea, si cabe, más agradable y que decir de la terraza con unas vistas espectaculares. Recomendable cien por cien.👍🥂

De woning is een super mooie plek om een aantal dagen te verblijven met een prachtig uitzicht(!!!) en alle luxe die je nodig hebt. Ørjan heeft alles duidelijk en makkelijk uitgelegd via een handleiding. Als wij ooit terug gaan naar Tromsø dan staat deze woning hoog in de lijst om nogmaals bij te verblijven.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Ursprünglich waren wir im kleinen Studio untergebracht, aber als der Bruder des Vermieters sah, dass wir mit einem Kleinkind (14 Monate) reisen, bot er uns ganz herzlich an, in eine größere Unterkunft umzuziehen. Diese Gastfreundschaft hat uns total überrascht und berührt – einfach großartig! Auch durften wir die große Waschmaschine und den Trockner benutzen, als er unseren Wäscheberg bemerkte – das war unglaublich hilfreich auf einer längeren Reise mit Kind. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, die Sauna ist kostenlos nutzbar, und auch das Waschen kostet nichts – ein echter Pluspunkt! Die Lage ist traumhaft – mit Blick auf Berge, das Meer und sogar einem Strand in der Nähe. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können den Aufenthalt absolut empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles!

This stay was by far one of our absolute favorite Airbnbs! The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking views of the seaside. Sitting in the cozy living room, watching the ever-changing scenery through the large windows, was an experience in itself—especially since we were lucky enough to see both the northern lights and whales during our stay! The location is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature with almost no neighbors, yet still conveniently close to Tromsø. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the incredible views. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything felt clean and modern. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with stunning scenery and the chance to see incredible wildlife, this is the perfect place. We can't recommend it highly enough and would love to return one day!

Visited Bente’s fantastic cabin for the 4th or 5th time - we just love the view and the location is very good for ski touring especially in the northern part of the Lyngen area.

Wow, what an amazing experience we had! The house had everything we needed and was super clean. The location was very good and calm, not far away from Leknes Airport. The whirlpool was pure luxury and the view over the mountains and the sea felt like a dream. The communication with Linda was very fast and easy.

we had everything we needed. the house is stunning and well equiped. you have everything beginning with a fire place, a hot tub, a sauna. a bit of a minus is the location. there are many street light because the house is in the middle of a skiing area. if you want so see the northern lights clearly i would sugest going to a more remote place

Everything about this stay was wonderful. From the beginning, Fredrik was communicative leading up to the stay. He offered advice and recommendations for things to do in the area. This home is immaculately designed and decorated. Very Scandinavian and minimalist design, which is my personal favorite. On top of that, the view is just gorgeous. It was hard to ever leave the home. We hope to come back again one day and stay again.

Die Zeit in Ronald Hütte haben wir sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in der Nähe des Bootsanlegers, mit einem tollen Café. Von dem Wohnzimmer der Unterkunft hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf den gesamten Fjord und die umliegenden Berge. Am Abend kann man die Sonne auf der Terrasse genießen. Die Sauna und Grillhütte runden den ganzen Aufenthalt ab. Direkt von der Unterkunft aus geht eine Skiroute durch das Fjell. Auf dem Weg liegt eine bereits am Parkplatz ausgegeschilderte Hütte (Trollhütte), in der man sich aufwärmen und eine tolle Zeit verbringen kann. Danke an Ronald, für die tolle Zeit. 😊

Der Hütte von Jeremias und Mariella ist wunderschön gelegen und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben die zeit bei ihnen sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft gehen. Sie sind auch sehr hilfsbereit, erkundigen sich gelegentlich nach dem Wohlbefinden, machten uns den Verhältnissen und Wetter angepasste Tourenvorschläge. Vielen herzlichen dank euch beiden ...
