Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Northumberland County

We love our stay here! The house had everything we needed and more. It was easy to find, and the views were amazing. We spent the whole time outside in the nature, and we loved how quiet it was. Kevin was easy to reach for any questions we had, and we appreciated his help. We would definitely come back here in the future.

We own the only local live music venue, Easy Wind Farm, and LOVE having our National Touring bands stay at Karen's home! The musicians feel so relaxed in the country setting, and get to enjoy some much needed quiet time. There is plenty of indoor space and the outdoor space is a treasure! We had such a nice visit! Ryan was very responsive to questions and requests. The house is very cute and perfect for a family with kids. Lots of toys and games and outdoor equipment - and a fun tree swing! The little sandy area was just right for our three kids (ages 1, 4 and 7). We ate all our meals outside on the deck overlooking the water. The neighbors were very friendly. Everything was great!

Thank you Jim and Megan for making this beautiful home available for our vacation. I was impressed with the cleanliness and because I'm a fishermen I loved the bait house by the water. It literally had everything you needed to fish or do some crabbing. We really needed nothing other than our cloths to wear and books to read. I did bring my own kayak but I really didn't need to everything was provided. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness in things like the coffee bars in the kitchen and upstairs as well with also providing k-cups, flavoring etc. and extra tp:) This location was what we needed to rest and recharge. Once again, thank you.

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation at Paws & Reflect! The pictures really do not do it justice! Dawn was very informative and responsive! The house was comfortable, beautiful and so clean. The game room was a blast and we enjoyed relaxing on the dock and the back patio. My little girl said this was the best vacation house ever!

This was our fourth time staying at this amazing place, and it never disappoints! The pictures really don’t do it justice the home is even more beautiful in person. The backyard is so peaceful and well kept, perfect for relaxing while the kids play. What really makes this place special is the stunning lake view, which you can enjoy right from the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. It’s the perfect weekend getaway for our family cozy and incredibly relaxing. We always feel right at home here and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying at this property and we’ve been over the moon with both experiences! The property is uniquely private but still a super quick drive into town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The inside and outdoor areas were very clean and well maintained, the kitchen is well appointed, and Nicky is very friendly and responsive to our questions. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect spot for a getaway in exceptionally luxurious accommodations! Literally everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean home, top-quality comfortable beds pillows, and linins, and so much more already provided than most air bnbs, like coffee, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc so we could immediately just relax and begin enjoying the space. Sipping coffee with a view of the river from the private dock, with bald eagles soaring overhead, was truly rejuvenating for the soul. Thank you for a beautiful experience!

So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

I spent 2+ months at Jocelyn’s and got quite comfortable! It’s definitely a ways away from things, but that was fine for me during that time. Communication was great. Jocelyn and family were nearby but never intrusive. I probably won’t be staying near Gloucester any time soon, but if I did I would definitely check Jocelyn’s availability first.

Frank was a great host! We hit traffic and got in super late, and he was very accommodating! We hope to head back in the future when we can actually get to stay longer and enjoy some wine!

Perhaps the most serene place I've ever been! Sits on a small cove which leads out to the Patuxent River. There's a dock over the water with lounge chairs where I just melted all my troubles away. Or just sit on the patio overlooking it all. Perfect host, wonderful place to stay. I plan to return.

Vickie and Scott were so welcoming and friendly. Respecting our privacy, yet nice conversations on our way in and out. The views, pier, and accommodations were exactly what was pictured and described. We will definitely be back. Location was only 10 minutes from downtown Leonardtown. Beautiful!

What a blessing to find this Airbnb, wonderully located for our granddaughter's wedding! Comfortable, quiet, woodsy, but right down the road from Rt. 17, and an easy drive to everything else. Becky & Chris are "just folks"; friendly, and hospitable. I would definitely return whe we visit family in Virginia.

Immaculately clean, comfortable, peaceful. Exactly as expected, exactly what we needed. Bernadette was friendly and welcoming while still allowing us privacy and space. Hint: if you use the kayaks and pull them on the caddies to the launch site, I recommend using the cinch straps to keep the kayaks from bouncing off on uneven surfaces. Would definitely stay here again. Jealous of Bernadette's beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area, nice comfortable space. The gravel road leading in (maybe a half-mile long) and driveway gave us a good area for morning and evening dog walks. We did not end up doing any fishing but the pond looked like a great place for kayak fishing. Not specific to the house but in the area: Rita's Cafe in Weems was great (food truck on a small road)--Chef Craige usually has a special and some regular menu items. Leadbellys (at Fairport Marina) had good oysters and hush puppies and was convenient for our first night. River Market in White Stone has good food to be ordered at the rear counter and prepared items in the coolers. Out of the Oven Bakery (White Stone) had great bread Miss Mary's seafood, also in White Stone had great fresh fish and prepared items. The three places in White Stone are very close to each other so convenient when running out.

We are two families that met up for a relaxing getaway after celebrating a high school graduation. This was the perfect place. The downstairs had lots of games and a big screen for them to hook their switch up to. We watched movies upstairs. And use the well-equipped kitchen each night to make a big dinner. The kids took the kayaks and canoe out one afternoon as well. Although I would say they definitely wouldn’t swim there. Compass entertainment complex is very close and they enjoyed their time there. We also went to a movie there one night. It is a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. Especially down on the dock at night. It was very quiet. We would definitely recommend this home.

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

The cottage was wonderful; Beautiful inside and out. Cheryl provides accommodations I have never had at any other rentals, such as a stocked coffee bar, snacks, drinks and even food items. The cottage was so welcoming and we enjoyed the peacefulness the area offers. Cheryl commumunicated throughout and we appreciated her thoughtfulness. We will definitely recommend this cottage to others looking for a tranquil getaway.

Pizza Friday was an amazing find! We spent a family reunion on the porch making pizza's in the oven. We obtained crusts from an Italian restaurant in California on our way and it proved to the perfect choice for us. We also enjoyed the dock and even caught a few crabs to show the kids. In addition we sat around the fire pit in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean inside although we spent most of our time outside on the porch.

The cabin was perfect for our little family, super comfortable and cute little space, with beautiful surroundings. Check in was a breeze and they even had the heat turned on before our arrival (it was a really cold day) and the porch lights were left on for us, we felt very welcomed. We would definitely book this place again next time we visit st marys county. Thank you Daniel!

This Airbnb truly felt like staying in someone's home. There were lots of items provided in the house -- from toys in the cabinets, to records to listen to and the kitchen was very well stocked with pans, plates and seasonings. Outside we loved using the crab pots (though we came up empty and didnt catch any crabs) and lighting a fire at the fire pit at night.
