Beach House ~ Fun+Stylish+Practical ~ Drive+Garden

NicholasRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Easy to find, beach 5 mins from property, the house was well kitted out and very dog friendly, within easy reach of shops. Be aware of the places to walk your dog on the beach ( times of the year) as the neighbour pointed out they fine you £1000 and have wardens who do check. We used the house as a base to discover the stunning coast line / Villages, Holy Island a must see. Gary was a great host and left fresh bread and milk /juice for when we arrived. We would recommend this place

Central village with stunning views and parking.

LukeRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Had an amazing stay at Seaview. Property was so clean and well laid out. Nice modern kitchen and shower room. Great garden for us and the dogs and the views are stunning. Such a great base and within a few seconds walk of the 2 best pubs in the village along with all the local shops so close by. Would strongly recommend John’s house. We had a fantastic time.

Immaculate property. Lovely big kitchen/ dining / living area, with an additional living room- well equipped with beautiful old books and lots of games. Gorgeous garden, very private, and amazing views. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen and towels. Very clean and tidy. Everything we wanted and more. We were a group of 8 ladies on a walking / yoga weekend- and we loved everything. We can’t wait to return.

Self Contained Rural Apartment, Pondicherry House

RodneyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A very comfortable apartment in a brilliant setting, ideal for a week away. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Loads of walks nearby, Cragside a couple of miles away. Andy and Lyd were friendly and helpful and the provision of bird seed to feed our feathered visitors was a very nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Steps from Sea + Pirate Kids Room – Northumberland

AshaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a lovely stay with our 2 young kids 😊 they loved the pirate themed bedroom and slept so well on the bunkbeds. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and was so quiet and clean. There's a lovely cafe on the beach too that does great food. Our kids were quite happy just going to the beach I'm Newbiggin each day but it's also well located to get to Tynemouth, Druridge bay, Alnwick etc. We loved it

Private flat - sleeps 4 - indoor heated pool

MandyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Elsie's Place Seahouses

CharlesRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This was our second time staying at the flat. Steven communicated really well with us and gave us useful information about restaurants etc. The situation of the flat is ideal, very close to the shops, harbour and pubs but is in a quiet road. One of the big benefits of this flat is that it comes with its own parking space. Seahouses can get very busy and free parking is limited. The flat is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi is great too. Would highly recommend.

3 Market Place Maisonettes

PaulRating, 5 stars2 days ago
You could not not ask for a better of location. Walking distance to Alnwick fabulous Gardens and Castle, plus the Barter book shop. Not forgetting the Tree house restaurant Keith and Carole were very helpful and great fun I would recommend a visit to Harry's bar on the first night where you will meet some wonderful people and taste some great ales. Alnmouth bay is only a 4 mile drive as the beach is fantastic if you fancy a paddle.

Stargazers Apart in Northumberland National Park

JessRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A beautiful apartment in a stunning location. A remote stay in the Northumberland countryside. The listing and photos perfectly match real life. We unfortunately had quite a lot of rain so weren’t able to take advantage of the telescope for stargazing but with a good set of waterproofs we were able to enjoy local walks, mountain biking etc. It was clean and Mary was an excellent host. It is worth noting you must have a car to go here and would recommend doing a food shop before you arrive as there isn’t much in the way of even a local small shop. We slightly struggled with how soft the bed was so if you have a bad back it could be an issue. Apart from that, we had a delightful stay and would definitely come again!

The Coach House at Yearle House

JanniceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay here. So close to Wooler, yet out in the country. This was the best airbnb of the trip - it is very well-stocked, full kitchen, spacious living/dining room, high ceilings and lovely old floor boards. The bed was so comfortable. We highly recommend staying here although you will need a car. We were able to do many excursions within 30 minute drives and it was a lovely place to come back to.

Hemma från Hemma, Alnwick

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at John’s flat in Alnwick. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. John’s instructions on use of the house were extremely clear and thorough. Parking was very convenient and free. It was a very short walk to downtown Alnwick. I will add that out of the dozens of AirBnBs and other short term rental properties we have stayed at, this one ranks very close to the top. We will definitely seek it out during future visits to the Northumberland area.

The Gosforth Retreat

NeilRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
From start to finish I felt really at home at Lisa's place. I know there are comments from Lisa about the location, but actually I found it straightforward to commute into Newcastle city centre on public transport (a bus stop across the street and other options within a 10 minute walk). Even better by car as the motorway is nearby. I found that Lisa had made every effort to make me feel welcome and it was the additional things like providing shower gel, shampoo etc... and milk & bottled water in the fridge was a really nice touch. I would love to stay at Lisa's place again. Thank you.
