Cabin holiday rentals in Northumberland Strait

I had a great stay! The place was cozy and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was super easy. Away from people in beautiful forest! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

This place was just a gem!! Exactly what we were looking for. It rained the whole weekend but still was able to watch the river and nature full view from inside. The hot tub was great no matter the weather. Would have been beautiful to have a fire beside the river but next time. Perfect place to unwind!!

This cabin was the perfect setting for a couple’s getaway. Hot tub and outdoor shower were great. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. It wasn’t far to get there, but once we were we felt like we were in a whole different place. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and relax.

We had a great stay at Joel & Janelle’s ! We loved the neighbourhood and location was amazing with so much close by. The house was a great stay with fully loaded kitchen, lots of towels, everything we needed to be comfortable. Great spot for our family to stay. Our host were also extremely responsive to any questions we had and left us some nice suggestions on restaurants and activities! They are great hosts, with a great cottage with the perfect location, highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Paul’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and close to beaches and places to eat. He answered any questions or small issues we had promptly and was very communicative.

Absolutely LOVED this little cottage! Fully stocked kitchen supplies, adorable decore and the best thing besides the hot tub… a record player and some records. We loved our overnight stay! Would highly recommend ! My only complaint and there is nothing to do a about it is it is close to the road. This will NOT stop me from telling people and will not stop me from booking again for my daughand her husband! 5 out of 5 stars for sure

We had the best time at Rolf’s place! The cottage is beautiful, and the surrounding lake and forest were very peaceful. The hot tub and screened in porch were amazing, we spent most of our time there. Rolf was very responsive to messages, and an all around great host. We’ve already booked another trip back!

A great home base for a much-needed vacation! The location was secluded and off the beaten path, but we really liked the peace and quiet! An easy drive to Charlottetown, PEI National Park, and Cavendish for day trips, and multiple beaches within a few miles of the cottage, so we were able to catch sunsets on the beach while we were there. Spotlessly clean, with lots of little touches to make life easier, like a washer/dryer, plenty of dishes and cookware, and the electric car charger (my husband was thrilled!!). The hot tub was also a fun bonus. Thank you, Katie!

Beautiful, cozy little spot on the ocean. Clean house with comfortable beds. Nice beach to roam just footsteps from the back door.

Fun rustic cottage with a wood stove. Loved spending time with friends by the fire. Host was well prepared, communicated clearly and quickly. Everything we saw in photos was accurate. Pleased with our choice and would go again for sure.

The Islander Lodge was everything we could have wanted for our stay. The location is very rural (42 kms outside Antigonish in mostly cottage country), the "cottage" is really a log house ( a beauty), modern, immaculate and pristine. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the stars and listening to the hoots of owls nearby. We didn't use the kayaks but they are provided along with life jackets. The beautiful lodge is exactly as described,inside and out. It's magazine gorgeous and had everything we needed. We had loads of privacy and were reassured the host would be around if needed. My only two suggestions would be to bring your own drinking water as this area has very hard water. And don't forget your security code instructions (ha) so you dont inadvertently get locked out. ( my wife has a good memory thankfully ha). We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these exceptional accommodations in West Lochaber.

Nic was very welcoming and helpful. Our place was exactly how the picture represents it. We had coffee, dishsoap, towels and dishes towels and paper towels. The beds were comfortable and clean. the TV worked well as did the internet. there was beach at low tide easily accessible. All in all a wonderful experience.

Beautiful view and a large deck to enjoy it! Was close to hiking beaches and parks.

Had a great stay. The place was tucked into the woods, quiet and very peaceful. Leanne was very accommodating with the check in as I had to take a meeting early. The place is cute and the decor was very thoughtful. There was ample wood for the fire pit and we bbqed one evening. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

As a retired home renovator, I was extremely impressed by the innovative personal design of almost every part of the shanty being handmade. The last 2 1/2 years that I’ve been living in the Canadian maritime (NB) away from southern Ontario, seeing the outside the box innovation for ecological use of construction materials (and reuse) to make wonderfully appointed buildings projects. East coast decor styling makes for a calming, rustic and charming pleasant stay in this shanty cabin. Kim made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up in my vehicle. The cabin is extremely clean, simply laid out, airy and comfortable. The fresh ocean breeze mixed with the pleasant cedar wood sent of cabins main construction material only adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m sure the next time I visit PEI I’ll be booking here again. Thank you so much Kim for allowing me this last minute booking, otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience at your place.

The whole family loved our stay in their Cabin!! Host was very responsive and place was awesome! We’ll for sure recommend and try it out again next time!

We enjoyed our stay at Troy's cottage. We didn't use the bikes and kayaks (though we planned to) but we did use the parks pass many times. Thank you for the yummy treats upon arrival. it was a wonderful central location for exploring the island. It was a quick drive to the beach to enjoy the sunset. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to do laundry.

Lovely cottage and very well equipped and kept. Cottage has a very nice peacefully view of the river. Dara & Harold are lovely people. We were there during winter. PEI weather can be a bit challenging but they were always checking in on us. Made us feel right at home!

had the most wonderful stay at Brenda's cabin. the location is simply beautiful. amazing outdoor space. the woods and shoreline are so close. and the pool is brilliant. inside feels so homely and spacious with great amenities and finally our host Branda was welcoming and helpful. 5⭐

Cozy little cabin right beside Parrsboro and right on the gravel beach by Partridge Island. The interior is functional and pleasant. The pine interior and skylights are spectacular! Only 2 small things that could be improved: not a lot of hot water so showers must be short, and no stovetop/oven (but there is a BBQ). Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the area :)

My family had a lovely stay in a cottage on the property - we enjoyed every minute of it! Family-friendly, quiet and right in the middle of a spectacular stretch of coastline. It was everything we were looking for! Tracy is an excellent host and responded very quickly to any questions I had. Highly recommend!
