This is a wonderful little place. The views are amazing and we had a relaxing and peaceful stay. Elin was amazing and the fresh eggs which she gifted us, were the best we’ve ever had. We are very grateful and enjoyed our stay!

Die Unterkunft von Ingrid in Vågå liegt in wunderschöner Umgebung und ist gemütlich eingerichtet – es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht, sogar eine Waschmaschine. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Ausblick direkt aus dem Fenster: Von dort konnten wir die Schafe auf der Weide beobachten – manchmal liefen sie sogar gemütlich über den Hof :D Ingrid und ihre Eltern waren ausgesprochen herzlich und sympathisch. Sie haben uns mit tollen Empfehlungen zur Umgebung versorgt. Ein weiteres Highlight war das typisch norwegische Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot. Insgesamt eine wunderbare Unterkunft mit persönlicher Note, die wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

Dette er andre gongen vi overnattar hjå Eldbjørg, og det er alltid like triveleg. Fin og roleg plass, med fantastisk utsikt. Reint, gode senger og god kommunikasjon både i forkant og under opphaldet. Takk for oss!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Are Abraham’s home! The location was peaceful and beautiful. We were surrounded by lovely views of the misty mountains and fjord. The house had a lovely patio and yard. My daughters particularly enjoyed playing on the swing set. The space worked nicely for our group of six — me, my husband, our three daughters (ages 2, 4 and 6) and my sister. We found the house easily with Google Maps, and check-in was very simple. Everything in the house was easy to find and use. The oven and washer were in good condition. Before our arrival Are was responsive to all my questions. His recommendations for things to do were wonderful. My family really enjoyed the Loen Skylift (only 8 minutes away) and seeing Briksdalsbreen. Are was proactive in making up a cot for my two year old and letting us know his mother was available to help while he was out of town for work. (We didn’t have any issues.) I would highly recommend Are’s house and Loen!

Amazing place! It’s a historic house on a farmstead next to the lake, unbeatable location with spectacular views on the doorstep. We used an amazing lakeside sauna twice, which you can book through Helene for a quite reasonable price per person. The cabin is small but the shower is well done and you can cook and sleep well. The hosts are very helpful, nice and genuine good people. We stayed 3 nights and took advantage of hiking and scenery around the area, and also enjoyed roaming the farmstead and meeting the animals. Recommend getting Helenes recommendations on places to see like Loen. I would go again given the opportunity.

Toutes les conditions étaientä réunies pour passer un agréable séjour. L‘appartement est confortable et propre. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la literie. Marit était trés réactive et attentionée.

Idar and Kirsti's small traditional home, high on the mountainside, has a spectacular setting with panoramic views of the fjord and surrounding mountains - we found it breath-taking! The location was so peaceful and relaxing. We visited in the later spring and the meadows around the house were full of wild flowers and our hosts had dressed each room with a vase of fresh flowers. The house was beautifully clean and not too cluttered. It was clear that our hosts had made the extra effort to make the house welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. Idar provided a personal and friendly welcome and gave us some good advice on areas to walk in the surrounding area. We deliberately avoided tourist attractions and more popular locations, and were rewarded with some spectacular walks through valleys, forests and high mountain pastures - unforgettable experiences. We would return to this area and house without hesitation.

First of all..we were glad that we got this place…the host responded and assisted us to a late night check in and last minute reservation…we had a problem from an original reservation from a different town and location (midsund)..as soon as the Host respond within a minute that minute..we drove quickly..second to the last fery ride crossing molde…Welcome by the owner…OMGosh ..the farm house is gorgeous…For me this kinda 1 out 50 accommodations thats rarely to find if you know what i mean….Spacious…clean..private..and super comfortable :) …we so happy…honestly i dont wanna leave :)….thank you so much for hosting us and keep up the good work you guys done in the farm :)

Perfect location for wonderful outdoor adventures. Erlend was extremely helpful and responsive. We were pretty late arriving due to some delays and Erlend was very understanding and turned the heat on so we would be comfortable as soon as we arrived! Would absolutely stay here again when we return.

Fantastic quiet little place for our family of 4 with great views. We had a comfortable stay. It’s about a 10-15 mins walk to Flam but be ready for the most gorgeous walk of your life!

Vakre omgivelser og flott bygg, med variert tilbud av aktiviteter både for den som vil slappe av og den som vil utfolde seg på sjøen. Ble tatt godt i mot av Kristian med full omvisning og han var tilgjengelig for eventuelle behov under hele oppholdet. Veldig fornøyd med både vert og bolig. Dette stedet kan anbefales.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr praktisch und gemütlich, alles ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und angenehm.

the view was absolutely stunning, the house was really pleasant. really nice host that gave as some good recommendations. except you had to have a laptop with HDMI to watch tv.

Een mooi, oud maar gezellig Noors huis met een goed ingerichte keuken. De badkamer is wat klein maar verder prima. Het huis ligt in een klein dorpje met een supermarkt om de hoek. Mooie en rustige ligging.

The farmhouse was absolutely lovely! Close to town with amazing views. We walked to three cideries - such fun and delicious cider. Highly recommend!

Die Wohnung von Mona ist ruhig gelegen und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick. Wir haben uns gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt.

Super locatie en precies zoals beschreven. We hebben echt genoten van alle voorzieningen, de omgeving en het wild rondom huis zoals bv diverse vogel soorten. Het huis heeft mooie en leuke oude accenten en accessoires wat wij echt een meer waarde vonden. De hottub was geweldig en super plek. Onze host Cato reageerde altijd super snel en behulpzaam. Echt een aanrader dus, we hopen hier weer eens terug te komen. Groet, Willem

Utrolig hjemmekoselig hytte, nydelig utsikt og ga ro og avslapping. Godt utstyrt hytte og fleksibel vert som fant løsninger på soveplass til flere enn det var senger til. Veldig kjekt at det var tidlig sol utenfor.

Gode senger og godt sengetøy, mye større plass enn forventet.

Et utrolig sjarmerende sted hvor vi fant roen med nydelig natur og flotte omgivelser. Masse kjekke ting for både store og små. Anbefales på det varmeste, vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Very easily a top-notch AirBnB experience — 10/10! Ivar and Astrid go above and beyond sharing their accommodations and cultivating a charming, cozy stay rich in family history. A peaceful oasis surrounded by nature for the adventurous. We adjusted our trip to spend more time here! Each detail — from the furniture, kitchen amenities and sauna to the radio, book collection, and wood burning stove — made us feel right at home. We hope to be back one day.
