(The trailer was replaced in 2022, so reviews before 2023 apply to an older trailer with fewer amenities and less comfort) It is 70 km to Svolvær, 60 km to Reine, about 20 km to the surf beach Unstad, and 8 km to the fishing village Ballstad. There are great opportunities to participate in the famous Lofoten fishing/winter fishing, and also fishing trips in the summer.

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. Living a somewhat simple life for a while without having to give up all the comforts, for that matter. Letting go of everyday worries, putting your phone away, and allowing yourself to be enchanted by your surroundings. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, boil coffee and cook over an open fire. Slidrefjorden is full of fish - trout and perch, so Rønlund Hyttepark is popular with fishermen. It is possible to go for a walk in the woods. Tyttebærløypa takes 15 minutes.
