Cottage holiday rentals in Norwegian Sea

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Jacob Oasis turned out to be a great find and perfect place for us to have a birthday getaway! The house is very well equipped, and even though it was very windy during our stay, we enjoyed jacuzzi, sauna, barbecue and just looking at the water and watching sunrises. We even had a photoshoot! Great deal, highly recommended!

We had an amazing Easter holiday break in Marinca's cottage. They welcomed us in the home warmly, suggested local touristic activities. The house is simply beautiful kitchenware was quite complete for anything. There were too much snow at this time of the year, so hottub and sauna were so much fun! They work with wood fire; costing more effort to run but quite enjoying as it gives the old style feeling!

Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the area and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has nice and nice old touches and accessories which we really found a more value. The hottub was great and super place. Our host Cato was always super quick and helpful. Lynn’s cottage, on the fjord in Ranvik, was the perfect location for us to visit family nearby and also Molde, the Atlantic Ocean Road and Kristiansund. We enjoyed the sauna on arrival day and… who doesn’t love a hot tub in the cool morning air?! Our stay was lovely!

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We've had a very good time at Andrea's house. As it is a separate cottage, you'll have sufficient privacy. The place looks very nice and there is a nice terrace. The short road up to the house is a bit bumpy, so be a bit careful. The price was perhaps a little bit expensive, but for the region it is probably a good deal (for fun look up the price of the cabins at the other side of the road). You can hear the road from the house, but no big problem. The surroundings are very beautiful, so that makes it totally worth it!

Marie and Thomas were great hosts and the house + location were wonderful! It is highly recommended and I would book it again and again. Pure relaxation.

Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

We had a great time. The cottage was lovely and exactly as expected. Easy to check-in, pleasant to stay at with comfy beds, a sofa to chill at and a fully equipped kitchen. The neighbourhood was peaceful, with farm animals roaming safely nearby. We were warmly welcomed with a pack of fresh eggs to enjoy (and boy were they good). One thing to keep in mind is that the EV charger is in fact a regular 230V Schuko outlet placed outside - make sure your car has such a cable equipped and remember it packs 2 kW at most.

Very kind and communicative host, very helpful. Beautiful cabin, the scenery from the cabin was wildly beautiful. We saw the aura borealis from the window two nights of our trip, if it’s Icy and snowy and you’re in a car with front wheel drive you may have a difficult time getting up the hill, like we did, but overall it was a magical experience

I spent 4 days at Tor Helge’s cabin and had a perfect stay. The place is calm, private, and the view is just amazing! The property goes down to the shore and my dog enjoyed walking up and down to the boat house and smelling the rabbits which I actually saw around. The house is really comfortable with all that you could need. Communication with Tor Helge was very friendly and pleasant and he made sure I had all I needed. He also left a list of places to visit, and I went to most of them, and they were just amazing local gems. I highly recommend staying here and I do hope to come back again in the future.

We are thankful for some beautiful days here in the middle of the nature of Sweden. It was surprising that this little apartment of wood can reach an inside temperature of almost 30 degrees. So our stay was very nice despite the cold. Tack för den trevliga tiden!

The hosts couldnt have been more helpful and kind. The rental cottage is so adorable and the area is amazing for hiking. Set right by a beautiful stream that is over looked with the bedroom terrace.

Anette's house is really exceptionally beautiful. Very cozy and very clean and tidy with such a beautiful view. It is quietly located in a beautiful valley by the sea in breathtaking nature. Annette gave us many recommendations for hikes in the area and was very nice. We felt completely comfortable
