Holiday rentals with lake access in Norwegian Sea

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

I've stayed at Anna's place many times now and there's a reason I keep coming back. Anna is a terric host, kind friendly and always helpful. The apratment is neat, cleean, tidy and quiet with everything you need and within close walking distance to the city, and right beside several handy bus stops. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Tromso, this one is a personal favourite.

Very pleasant and warm communication. The apartment is located at the end of a residential area, beautifully in the countryside, and you can start hiking directly from the apartment. Even had the rare luck to see moose that came into the settlement. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. And the living room is so cozy that you can even spend a real "bad weather" day at home. For many excursions from an accommodation, however, I find it a bit too remote.

Anne Lise is a wonderful, responsive and available host. He helped us with all the information we needed. Nusfjord is a paradise on earth. I couldn't recommend staying in Nusfjord and at Anne Lise's accommodation any more. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we felt at home. The fact that there is a private parking space at the door is incredible. The local population in Nusfjord is very friendly and helpful. The bakery is wonderful, the best in Lofoten. We were also lucky enough to be visited by a friendly couple of rabbits, who happily hopped through the forest behind the house. Everything is wonderful there! I totally recommend it. Inger's accommodation perfectly matches the description. We were able to park our bikes in the garage. Inger was welcoming and answered all our questions. The accommodation is close to the ferry that allows you to go to Balestrand easily. The small town of Vikoyri deserves a visit, especially for its wooden church. The presence of the road that connects the ferry to Vikoyri generates a little noise. We recommend Inger's accommodation.

Very nice apartment, with everything you need. Wonderful view on all sides from the apartment. Let us show you the hike into the mountains. From above, you have a gigantic view. Definitely recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Tórhallur’s place. Their place was the perfect home base for several day trips we had planned. And what an amazing view to wake up to with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend !

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

We had a great time at Cato and Solveig's house. It felt like home, very pretty, beautiful location and great view. We were able to take a beautiful hike and experience the Vesterålen during these two weeks. The space was very clean and warm. Even though we couldn't meet Cato in person, he was always warning by message and very responsive if we needed him. Thanks again to Cato and Solveig for making this wonderful stay possible! 😊

Very good place to stay during fishing trip on Storuman lake.

Came back to this lovely cottage for a second time. It is a wonderful listing that let's you easily forget time and place and just enjoy the peaceful surroundings while enjoying the relaxing amenities like hut tub and sauna. We'll hopefully be back !

The feeling is 5/5! Although the Finnish summer was not at its best when we arrived, the sauna and grill warmed up, the children enjoyed themselves and so did the adults. Children swim despite the rain and adults enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. The framework is extremely good. Nothing negative to say! ❤️
