Cottage holiday rentals in Norwegian Sea

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Jacob Oasis turned out to be a great find and perfect place for us to have a birthday getaway! The house is very well equipped, and even though it was very windy during our stay, we enjoyed jacuzzi, sauna, barbecue and just looking at the water and watching sunrises. We even had a photoshoot! Great deal, highly recommended!

Njut av lugnet vid sjön med utsikt över åkrarna och detta medan du sitter på den stora verandan alternativt i det varma spabadet. Privat boende där du inte störs av något eller någon. Mysig stuga som har allt, fjärde gången vi hyrde stugan och kommer garanterat tillbaka. Trevlig värdinna som välkomnar med nybäddade sängar och fri tillgång på handdukar. Helt klart värt varenda krona. Tack

We had an amazing Easter holiday break in Marinca's cottage. They welcomed us in the home warmly, suggested local touristic activities. The house is simply beautiful kitchenware was quite complete for anything. There were too much snow at this time of the year, so hottub and sauna were so much fun! They work with wood fire; costing more effort to run but quite enjoying as it gives the old style feeling!

Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

Gemütliche, ordentliche Unterkunft. Für zwei Personen oder drei super geeignet. Nette Gastgeber, wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Super locatie en precies zoals beschreven. We hebben echt genoten van alle voorzieningen, de omgeving en het wild rondom huis zoals bv diverse vogel soorten. Het huis heeft mooie en leuke oude accenten en accessoires wat wij echt een meer waarde vonden. De hottub was geweldig en super plek. Onze host Cato reageerde altijd super snel en behulpzaam. Echt een aanrader dus, we hopen hier weer eens terug te komen. Groet, Willem

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

prima verblijf. uitgekozen op de wandeling die we voor ogen hadden en ook fantastisch was maar wel een avontuur voor ervaren wandelaars op 30 min rijden Femdälen. Huisje heeft alle faciliteiten en biedt voldoende ruimte. wij waren met 2 maar voor 4 personen ook groot genoeg.

Marie und Thomas waren tolle Gastgeber und auch das Haus + Lage waren wunderbar! Es ist sehr zu empfehlen und ich würde es immer wieder buchen. Erholung pur.

I spent 4 days at Tor Helge’s cabin and had a perfect stay. The place is calm, private, and the view is just amazing! The property goes down to the shore and my dog enjoyed walking up and down to the boat house and smelling the rabbits which I actually saw around. The house is really comfortable with all that you could need. Communication with Tor Helge was very friendly and pleasant and he made sure I had all I needed. He also left a list of places to visit, and I went to most of them, and they were just amazing local gems. I highly recommend staying here and I do hope to come back again in the future.

Superb cabin in front of the sea, very nice during winter with frozen water. Easy to find and not so far from cities and other commodities. Margareta is also easy to contact and the check in was easy.

Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

Marlene & Anders är trevliga värdar som är enkla att kommunicera med. Det var lätt att hitta dit och det var inga problem checka in lite tidigare. Sjöstugan är mysig och platsen är otroligt fridfull. Önskar att vi hade hunnit stanna längre för att se mer av området och testa bastun. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Viihdyimme erinomaisesti kesäiset päivät kodikkaassa talossa ja sen pihapiirissä (Kaksi aikuista ja koira). Paikka täytti kaikki lupaukset ja ylittikin ne. Marja-Sisko ja Matti ottivat tulijat lämpimästi ja huolehtivasti vastaan.

Once again we had good times at Henning's house. Everything was great and the house was perfect. Five stars!

Perfekt och vacker miljö. Vi besökte massor. Av sjöar och tjärnar. Det vi saknade var ved till grillning. Men som beskriv, så fanns eldstad, men det betyder inte att det finns ved. Vilket ofta brukar vara tillgänglig på de flesta boenden. Rekommendation att ta med egen säck grillkol, för en perfekt upplevelse. Rekommenderar denna plats mycket.

Tolles Haus und eine super Lage. Es sieht aus, wie auf den Fotos und wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt geniessen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sehr schönes Haus mit famtastischer Aussicht. Wir haben auch vom Haus Elche gesehen. Sauna ist auch grösser als es auf den Fotos aussieht.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf. De locatie is prachtig en afgelegen!

Very kind and communicative host, very helpful. Beautiful cabin, the scenery from the cabin was wildly beautiful. We saw the aura borealis from the window two nights of our trip, if it’s Icy and snowy and you’re in a car with front wheel drive you may have a difficult time getting up the hill, like we did, but overall it was a magical experience

We are thankful for some beautiful days here in the middle of the nature of Sweden. It was surprising that this little apartment of wood can reach an inside temperature of almost 30 degrees. So our stay was very nice despite the cold. Tack för den trevliga tiden!

Linda, de beste gastvrouw die wij ooit in een Airbnb gehad hebben. Vriendelijk, behulpzaam, mooie woning en als kers op de taart haar kookkunsten. Er zit standaard een ontbijt bij, dan verwacht je wat broodjes. Maar dit ontbijt overtrof alles. Menig hotel kan hier niet aan tippen. Omdat wij de St Olavsleden liepen hadden we van te voren afgesproken dat zij ook het avondeten en het lunchpakket voor de volgende dag regelde. Woorden komen we tekort. Lekker in het kwadraat en super verzorgd. Linda, we love you😘
