Enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful place. The half-timbered house from 1799 was newly renovated in 2022. On the first floor, a small, fine apartment was created. It has a large entrance area, a combined kitchen/living room with sofa bed (1.40 m), a bedroom with double bed, and a bathroom with shower. A cozy spot in the garden invites you to linger. In the village, there is a bakery, butcher, grocery store and a restaurant within walking distance. There are also numerous bike and walking trails.

The time-honored 18th century farmhouse was extensively renovated and rebuilt from 2021 - 2025. The house in the small border village of Nothweiler directly on the border of the French Alsace now offers guests two large holiday apartments n. The location in the middle of the Palatinate Forest-North Vosges Biosphere Reserve guarantees absolute peace and relaxation, the historic building structure and the modern equipment ensure a cozy and at the same time contemporary ambience.

The workshop

Located in a small Alsatian village at an altitude of 350 m, in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Park. Independent accommodation is located in a renovated old farmhouse. In our vacation rental "Wegelnburg" you can expect modern equipped rooms with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom/WC. The terrace/balcony faces west. Thus, you can fully enjoy the afternoon/evening sun with a view of the Wegelnburg castle ruins. On foot, you can reach the nearby castle ruins of Wegelnburg, Hohenburg, Löwenstein and Fleckenstein via well-signposted hiking trails (e.g. Felsenland Sagenweg, Grenzgänger Weg).
