The Post Cabin

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

The living room is surrounded by a beautiful flower meadow and in the summer there are sheep grazing. Here you can start the day with a small bath, the children can run freely and it is arranged for late evenings around the campfire. Outside you have a large dining table and barbecue available, not to mention your own sauna in the pig house!

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

In summer, there is bathing water 5 min walk from the cabin, with swimming area, fishing opportunities and access to rowing boat. In winter, it is driven up for miles of great marked ski trails.
