The Adler has been welcoming you since September 1, September 2025! 2 years of planning and almost 3 years of construction were needed to get the 18th century century Gasthof Adler back to flying. The extensive gilding treatment included a core renovation of the entire building, a complete extension on the east side and an addition of a residential floor. On the 1st, 2nd, floor and 3rd floor, the golden eagle invites you to stay above the historic rooftops of Markdorf.

The double rooms "Zugspitzblick" are equipped with shower/bathtub, lavatory, hairdryer, cable tv, clock radio and free WIFI. Our comfortably equipped single rooms "Zugspitzblick" are approx. 22 - 28 square meters in size. They are all facing south, offering a balcony with a splendid view of the Allgäu alpine world and the Zugspitze, the country´s highest mountain. A spacious sitting area is providing extra room to work and relax.
