Das Haus liegt allein in einem Meer aus Feldern, vom Wind umspült, in einem großen Staudengarten. Mit vielen Künstlerkollegen und Freunden wurde diese vormals unspektakuläre Pension aus den 90er-Jahren umgebaut und saniert und mit Hilfe des Landschaftsgestalters Rainer Elstermann ein Garten angelegt. In stetigem Wachstum und Wandel entstand – und entsteht noch – ein idyllischer Ort, in dessen Gästeteil 10 Personen und in dem hauptsächlich privat genutzten Studioteil 8 Personen unterkommen.
