In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

A warm welcome to Gengenbach in Kinzigtal, “The romantic pearl” of the Black Forest. Our house is located in a residential area at the edge of town. "Schnuckliges Schwarzwald Stüble" [Cute Black Forest Cottage] Gengenbach

Our granny apartment is located on the first floor of our guest house. The municipality charges a tourist tax of 2.10 per day per guest aged 16 and over. For this you will receive the Konus card with which you can use the public transport and the outdoor pool free of charge. Dogs are welcome, we charge 5 euros per day but a maximum of 25 euros per stay, this must be paid on site.

The premises from 1863 were completely renovated by architects in 2023 and are superbly equipped. Experience the wonderful view of nearby Ortenberg Castle and the Black Forest. Oh, and Ernest Hemingway has also stayed here.
