Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Øksnes

Lovely cosy cabin in peaceful surroundings. We felt right at home and really enjoyed beautiful Vesterålen. Location was great with many beautiful beaches and hikes around the corner. Good location near the Joker (for groceries) as well. Everything was described and the house was well-equipped with kitchen and bathroom essentials. Big thank you to the host for providing everything we needed!

With love, beautifully decorated bright, romantic cottage, located in the middle of fabulous fairy-tale nature. You don't have to go far to find a hiking trail, you can find one just around the corner. The bedrooms are located on the second floor, where there are steep stairs - not suitable for people with poor health or knees. One of us slept on the sofa in the living room downstairs with the dog. The nearest grocery store and service station are about 10 minutes away by car. A warm recommendation for this home. We have really great memories of this place and we already miss it. Communication with Steffen went well and it was very fun to meet him in person.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house to the fullest. It offers an incredible amount of space and is perfectly equipped - everything has been thought of: from children's toys to high chairs to the fully equipped kitchen. The view of the sea is simply breathtaking, and we were very lucky to see sea eagles every day - an unforgettable experience! The surroundings are also fantastic: the beautiful, nearby beach invites you to relax and stroll, and the impressive mountain scenery all around makes the landscape simply unique. The combination of sea, mountains and nature ensures absolute relaxation. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and always quickly accessible. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands here. Such houses are rare – we wish there were more such accommodations on Airbnb. Clear recommendation!

We stayed two families, with fours kids for a couple of days. There is only one bathroom, but that was not problem for us as we were out a lot enjoying the surroundings. The kids loved the trampoline. Ingrid was very responsive and the place is fairly close to a good supermarket and vinmonopolet. Thank you!

A fantastic location in Nysund. Great views and walks on the door step. Mari was very helpful and welcoming. She offered us lots of recommendations in the area and we found her to be warm and friendly without being overbearing. Her apartment was just as advertised and was cosy and comfortable. The balconies are a real bonus and are a wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by. We would highly recommend you stay.

Good value for rental price. Great communication and nice host. Everything you need in the apartment and one of the world's finest views . Great hiking opportunities and you drive past the shop on the way out so it's easy to shop. Recommended!

We spent three wonderful days on Skogsøya. The house, although not traditional in style, was superbly positioned overlooking the sea and the neighbouring islands. The huge picture windows give an ever changing view that in real life are much better than the photos. We walked the coast road and several of the footpaths some of which climb hills behind the house and offer views over Vesterålen. You can hike to the north coast, but it gets very boggy beyond the big lake. Check the ferry timetable before travelling and if you arrive on a Sunday remember to do your shopping the day before! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in Anders place on this magical island.

We had an amazing stay with Tore and is wife. They are amazing hosts. Their place id in an amazing location, with the best view of Eidet and the mountains, and the house as everything you need to have a great stay and relax. It was exactly what we were looking for for our holidays. If we didn't have already booked another stay we would stay more days at Tore place

Neat apartment in a small village by the sea. We very much enjoyed our stay here. We saw otters by the water.
