Staying at this off-grid yurt was such a peaceful and refreshing experience. The location is incredibly serene, surrounded by beautiful, walkable nature that made us feel completely disconnected from the noise of everyday life. The yurt itself was cozy, well-equipped, and full of character. We loved waking up to the sounds of the forest and spending the evenings around the fire. A truly unique and memorable escape, we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to recharge in nature.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the yome - loved looking at the stars at night and meeting the animals in the morning! Breakfast was incredible, thanks for opening your farm to us!

The yurt is the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at! It is such a unique experience to stay there. We slept so well in the quiet and peaceful environment in the forest. We also enjoyed the walking trails and seeing all the animals on David and Trish’s farm. They are truly great hosts in a wonderful location!

This is a really beautiful spot and a great atmosphere to kick back, slow down and relax. The yurt and kitchen both have a cozy, artsy feel that is very welcoming. The deck behind the yurt is a wonderful spot to have a morning coffee and watch the birds over the water. If your stay is in the summer, definitely take a dip in the river by the falls. Karen and Kevin were great hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. We explored the rail trails nearby on our bikes, and there's lots of great hiking in the area too.

We had a truly amazing stay at the Scarlet Yurt! Milena was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host—she greeted us upon arrival and had already explained every detail beforehand so clearly that it felt like we had already been there before. Everything mentioned on their Airbnb page was exactly as described, if not better. The place was well-prepared, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the heart of nature, I 100% recommend this location. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and recharge.

A lovely setting, great welcome, fantastic view, very cosy yurt with wood stove. Fantastic biking and walks in the woods nearby.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Nature Escape Our stay at the Luxury Eco-Yurt was nothing short of amazing! This was the last stop on our trip from Toronto to Sandbanks to Kingston, and it was truly the perfect ending. The yurt is beautifully designed—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Every detail was so well thought out, from the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom to the outdoor firepit under the stars. The host was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We were greeted with a handwritten note, a park pass, marshmallows, and a lovely introduction to the space—it immediately made us feel at home. The highlight for us was watching the fireflies at night—such a magical sight! It brought out the child in me and filled us with pure joy. This place reminded me of my childhood home and gave us a much-needed moment of calm before heading back to everyday life. We’re leaving with full hearts and beautiful memories. Highly recommend to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and themselves.

Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. Judy was a great host and staying in a Yurt was a wonderful experience. It was so refreshing to unplug and live off grid for awhile. Kitchen and bathroom were better than you can expect for being outdoors. Definitely will go back, highly recommend such a jem. Thanks to our host Judy, for all you did for us, and for the fresh veggies and flowers on our table.

We had an amazing fall getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventurous (but very peaceful) getaway. Beautiful trails to explore. Very nice out door fire pit and well organized outdoor kitchen. Our kids had a blast.

Bonjour Alex, Un énorme merci pour ce beau séjour à la yourte. Cela m'a fait du bien. J'ai également pu profiter d'un feu de bois sur l'extérieur hier, bien agréable. En après-midi, un peu après mon arrivée, j'ai pu profiter du spa près de la grange, le silence le calme, la tranquillité de la nature ça fait du bien. L'accès à toutes les commodités, à l'intérieur de la maison, en formule à partager avec les autres visiteurs, s'est très bien déroulé. I had a beautiful stay at the yurt and the best sleep I’ve had in ages! The space was quiet, cozy and had everything I needed. The surrounding woods were gorgeous and a delight to explore. (My dog loved it too!) This is a very special place, imbued with peace and creative energy. Thank you for being such generous and welcoming hosts!

Jeff and Ephie were outstanding hosts! We truly enjoyed our stay and were blown away by the space. Photos do not even begin to do this place justice. The beds were so comfortable, the Linens were clean and cozy. The entire yurt was set up for an extremely relaxing stay. There are board games available, the firepit was stocked and ready to go. The kitchen had exactly what we needed. Our hosts truly thought of everything! We can't wait to come back this summer. Thank you for an incredible weekend! We had the most peaceful stay with our silly dog. The chickens you get totally used to. The rooster in the morning is great as it gets your day started. The town is only a couple of minutes away. Would have stayed here forever if I could lol. They have so many fresh eggs you can buy, bring change or dont you can email transfer them. Essentially just bring some food/drinks. I cannot get over the hospitality and I travel a lot. The Bomb-fire Ace made for us was AMAZI AMAZING! 5 stars all the way or I would say 10 if that was an option 😀

This was a one of a kind experience to stay in a traditional Mongolian Yurt. It had all the amenities that we wanted and I must say the bed was the best we ever slept in. Would go again!

My partner and I stayed in the yurt for a weekend. We would recommend it to anyone! The yurt is very cozy and comfy. We liked the decor, the pillows and the blankets. We also appreciated having our own bench and fire pit outside the yurt. The yurt is about a 10-15 minute walk from the very nice beach facilities. The yurt is close to Whitewater Brewery, which has a beautiful patio and tasty food. There are yurts on either side of this one and they are very close. We were lucky that both yurts around us were empty, but had there been guests staying in them, we would’ve enjoyed less and had less privacy.

It was our first time staying in a yurt, and I can say it's a glamorous version of camping. We had a great time with our kids. The place is clean, comfortable, and full of good energy. Lovely experience.

A wonderful experience for the entire family! We booked last minute and Brad was extremely responsive and flexible. Communication was excellent! Beautiful area, lots to do and very clean comfortable stay! Will absolutely be visiting again!
