Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Kidder Creek Cottage is a tranquil getaway in Scott Valley, the gateway to the Marble Mountains. Kidder Creek trailhead is just up the road. Outdoor opportunities abound, including cycling, hiking, and fishing. The area has many scenic and winding roads perfect for the avid motorcyclist. There are a number of local restaurants and breweries to explore, all within your reach. You'll enjoy the quiet atmosphere and beautiful starry nights. Quaint cottage nestled in a fruit orchard, near the beautiful Trinity river. The cottage is set in a quiet pastoral setting that borders always green pastures. There is a seasonal garden lot by the House as well as an orchard where guests can pick fruit in season, surrounded by a view is of the breathtaking forested Trinity Mountains. Come enjoy the fresh air and clear stars! We are also cleaning the cabin using the CDC - Airbnb cleaning protocol to ensure the safety of our guests!

Walking distance to downtown Etna with many eateries to choose from; Denny Bar Distillery, Farmhouse Bakery, Wildwood Cafe, Etna Brewing Co and Dotty's Corner Kitchen. Or enjoy a relaxing treatment at Mountain Healing Spa. Enjoy the free use of our bicycles to tour the area.
