Due to the convenient connection to the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, the nearby federal highways A6 and A61, the local recreation area Silbersee, the railway connection on the Main railway line and the well-developed road network, the municipality of Bobenheim-Roxheim, with around 10,000 inhabitants, has become a very popular residential and holiday resort.

Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

Unser, im Stil eines Forsthauses, eingerichtetes Holzhaus garantiert Ihnen Ruhe und Entspannung vom Alltag und bietet eine optimale Ausgangslage um den Odenwald zu erkunden. Pure Entspannung bietet die neue Holzterrasse mit großer Sitzgruppe und einer wunderbaren Aussicht. Das Ferienhaus bietet mit ca. 120 m² großzügig Platz für 6 - 8 Personen.

Das "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" ist das Gästehaus des renommierten Weinguts Balthasar Ress im Rheingau. Vornehmlich für eigene Gäste des Weinguts konzipiert, steht es auch manchmal anderen Gästen zur Verfügung. It's probably the weirdest way to stay overnight! Our historic house is now 337 years old and more leaning than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but it's still a great place to sleep. Located in the historic old town of Dreieichenhain and yet a very quiet location. Optimal connection to Frankfurt, Offenbach, Darmstadt etc.: Bus and train can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Dreieich-Dreieichenhain is very well connected to federal roads and motorways.

Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

My place is an hour south of Frankfurt, surrounded by nature. Well suited for groups and families looking for nature. There is a beautiful outdoor area with cozy seating areas, playground, campfire area, a large covered summer kitchen, vegetable garden, table tennis table, workbench for children, a pottery workshop for pottery, a piano in the 45 sqm kitchen. Excellent living climate due to wood/clay construction.

We have further renovated our popular vacation home over the winter - the bathroom has been expanded with an additional large sink, a separate dining room and the living room have been comfortably refurnished. The bedrooms on the upper floor can be air-conditioned in summer. The beautiful conservatory and balcony invite you to linger. We do NOT rent to fitters.

The house is centrally located. Mainz can be reached by bus within 10 Minutes. Final renovations have finished at the end of July 2016. So you will live in a totally new-looking house!
